PC Games / TA: Core Contingency..
« on: June 15, 2006, 09:49:11 pm »
Is there any way that I can get Total Annihilation: Core Contingency, for free? I can't really afford to buy it, living in alaska, and it's getting more and more rare, it's way over 5 years old now, so it should be considered abandonware, but I can't find a place to download it.. would emailing the entire disk data be legal/possible?? Or perhaps someone could burn me a copy or something? ..I don't have cash. but I may be able to pay shipping if it isn't too high. though I don't know how it'd be done.

Portable Games / Sad for my DS..
« on: May 31, 2006, 11:51:06 pm »
Just recently got metroid prime: hunters.. (second game, yay!.. :( )

Well, sad to say, I had to play it in the car too much, and we have some bad roads up here.. my poor ds.. :(

It now has a horrible scratchy circle area in the middle, that scratches my ds pen, causing the pen to scratch the screen worse.. which in turn scratches the pen worse..  :'(   cursed car..

So sad.. anyone else get a scratchy circle in the middle of the touchscreen from this game?.. Mine is so bad that if I pass the pen over the scratches.. it makes a horrid sound!.. I hate cars. I thought I might be trying far to hard to aim carefully in a car.. I hate , stuff...

P.S. Nintendo, can ya release replacement touchscreen for the common people? or do I have to go to some factory to get it fixed up?

Portable Games / Worms DS

OK, I searched, worms open warfare for the ds hasn't been mentioned once in all time as far as I can tell.

Has anyone played worms for the ds? if so, is it worth buying next monday? cause at that time I'm getting Metroid prime hunters, and something else..

*oooooooh prettttyyyy*   ;)

Recently I learned that there will be a good variety of planet types in spore, however due to all the editors we will have access to, we will be able to make some pretty unique places to see, once we get the UFO of course.

The point of this is.. What kind of planet would you like to create (from scratch if possible) after spore has been out long enough that you have gotten a good deal of tech with the UFO?
I would like to make a nice tiny planet. With a silver-pink-ish ocean(giant lake rather).   With a good deal of large, curly, deep-purple, flat, tim burtonish plants. Another plant to grow here will be shaped like a tall flower pot (the narrow necked kind) turned upside down, with a very dark red for its coloring, with black fruit (with blue specks on them) growing off the tip of straight spikes (which of course grow all over the top portion of the plant).

Living on the tiny planet will be atleast 3 flying creatures, one with 3 wings, one with 5, and one with 7. As for ground creatures to live on it, I'll create very long centipede-like pack hunters, and they hunt tall gangly humanoids with large hands/fists, who eat the black (and blue speckled) fruits.END

Hah, this game is gonna be great for artsing. I may not have made a "creature" thread, but maybe I can start something good here instead. Ah if only I could put pictures into this computer.
