I'm sure I'm a bit late, but welcome to the forums! I pre-ordered the special edition (because I'm a sucker ;)) a week or two ago and I've realized that I watch my oblivion videos over and over when I try to kill time. It's anyone's guess how I'm going to get much work done these next few weeks.

Mine's prepaid, has been prepaid for 2 months now at Gamestop. Im picking it up 7 days from now, thats when they said they will have it. I have to work noon till 10pm that night, which sucks, but hopefully I will have enough time before work to at least create and go through the intro and get into the forest. Ever since it was announced to come out the week of the 20th its felt like im 6 years old and christmas is coming again. At least on my days off, like today.

Well, ive got my pre-order down for the PC version (though I also have a 360) ;D

Went with the PC version for two reasons. One was that you cant get community mods on the 360, and you cant tweak the graphics and such on a 360 either.

Just have to find a way to get to the store to pick it up on the 21st.....somehow...

Bethesda just made a countdown video for Oblivion.

Edit: That video is amazing! But so damn short! Gah! Oh, and if you haven't watched the 6 E3 trailers on the video page, make sure and watch them. This game is going to be riduclously cool.

I have to say I'm really glad Bethesda is doing this. This last week of waiting sucks so bad, but it's a little bit better knowing we'll get a little video every day to hold us over :)

I wonder how much money it is going to cost them to ship everything out so quickly, could they have saved money if they shipped it out a week in advance? Then we could get the game at 12:00AM, thats if stores like EB Games and Gamestop stayed open for it, like they do with most big releases... sigh...

How much do you want to bet that with these daily video releases the last video they release will be someone walking through the Oblivion gate and then it will stop.

I really have to comend them for not releaseing information on that part of the game. I can't wait to go through the gates of Oblivion without any knowledge of what I'll see. All we do know is that every map is randomly generated, and it is essentially their Hell.

This game is going to be too much.
