DC universe - so will i be playing with 20 Batmans and 35 Supermans?

Ether you misunderstood or i did.

I'm pretty sure you can fight along side them

I think you make your own hero like in COH and COV

Well that's better.

Another thing I was going to mention was, Why is Home still lame? I thought they might announce some cool feature for it, but all we got was that we can dance in the uncharted room. ::)

I've said it before, but this demo only further proved my point..   Home seems to serve as more of a distraction, rather than serve any sort of functional use.  Is there really any point of seeing my achievements in a big room..  and then walking to another room to check my email, and then another to form a group to play a game..?  It all sounds like it's just there to get in the way.  Although you can argue the 360's avatars are equally as pointless, at least the functionality is still there, there just serve as a more personal form of gamer picture.

Home reminds me of Second Life.  It sounds great on paper, but when you're actually there..  There really isn't much point.
I see myself using Home, maybe once or twice, and then just ignoring it totally and using the guide menu shortcuts.

I'm kinda glad MS didn't mention a home ripoff, just that they're taking features from home like 8 player private chat and the host can launch games.

Was anyone else embarrassed for the people demoing wii music?  It seemed very awkward watching them play it.  Though I'm sure it's another thing entirely to actually play it.

Hello! Here's a roundup of Nintendo's press conference that includes some Wii Sports Resort info and a somewhat technical explanation of Wii Motion Plus.

There's some more Resident Evil 5 footage that you'll all want to check out, as well as Dead Rising for the Wii!

Also, from ScrewAttack, a humorous recap of Nintendo's conference and Sony's conference, neither of which are safe for work.

**EDIT**
Let's just keep going down the line.

Quote from: Sony
NOTE: The PlayStation 3 game Valkyria Chronicles was shown at the event as a PSP title, but this was a mistake by Sony -- SEGA confirmed that this footage is from the PS3 game and there are no plans currently to announce a PlayStation Portable version of this game.

This is an unconfirmed rumor but Nintendo may announce another new game at a secret meeting today.

I'm kind of surprised how little news there is from Microsoft... maybe it's there but nobody is talking about it.

**EDIT EDIT**
Moving right along...

Take a look at Wii Speak
Halo Wars Impressions - This is a must see!
Fable 2 Impressions
Mirror's Edge Impressions - This is a must see!
Dead Space Impressions

Miyamoto says a new Zelda is in the works.

Heard of this for while but now I'm syked there's an article!
They said a possibility of a first person perspective <.<
Kid: Oh wow I'm being deflowered by a grown woman!
Mother: By the way I'm your mother
Kid: OH GOD NO

EDIT: That's where it becomes rape if you were wondering.

Guess that means there is a possibility of the first crappy Zelda game in a while then.

I am most excited, of all things, for Geometry Wars 2, I must have put as many hours into Retro Evolved as I did for Oblivion.... a lot!

Why do I feel that Nintendo is screwing us over so much? Where is my Star Fox? Or Pikmin? Or F-Zero? Or countless other classic franchises? Or even *gasp* a new f***ing franchise. Instead we get new peripherals, another WiiSports, and Animal Crossing. I think they honestly have just given up on their core audience.

You know... I don't think that they are screwing us over. I think the lack of really good announcements comes down to two things. One, it is still a little too soon; and two, E3 isn't the place to do it any more. Look all around the board, there weren't any really really awesome announcements. I'm betting that everyone has seen that E3 is out and will wait for the other shows like Leipzig and TGS to make the big announcements.
