Yes, and it appears your planets can fend for themselves now. Not a lot, but that's what I'm seeing.

I think a log of the changes made would be pretty nice to have... (hint, hint, Maxis..  ;))

They always did man.  I've had colonies in the core that I hadn't defended in quite sometime, still there, little damaged, but there.  Uber turrets usually can hold of anything short of Grux.

Putting on my Cynical Hat for a moment: I suspect the reason why they've done this no-patch, updated-silently thing is because they didn't want to tell you what they updated. Did you ever read the patch notes for Sims 2 expansions? They were filled to the brim with really dumb bugs.

I'm a coder myself, I've fixed (and... uh... created ;)) plenty of dumb bugs. Bugs are a fact of life... but a list of changes - making it clear to the players that work is being done - would create a lot of goodwill I think.

A list of bug fixes are always important to have.  I hope they'll provide one soon.  :)

I remember people claiming that there were stealth patches streamed for the creature creator too.

I really don't think that is the case though, I think any fixes that have occurred have been server-side.

I'm still having trouble with some achievements.

I have made and uploaded over 50 vehicles (53) and uploaded more than 100 creatures (115, not including the 3 creatures Spore recognized from the CC). Yet I don't have the achievement. Also, I do not have the Universe in a Box achievement despite playing all stages and all editors, though maybe I have to do this outside of the game too? I'll test that later, but I've been in every editor and stage but no achievement.

Still can't get ANY achievements, although I did 2 runthroughs without any cheats.
