Topic: Speculative Wii Game Ideas

Now, these are by no means actual games to be released. Just spout random ideas that would take advantage of the controller and stuff. But I would like to start off.

Star Wars: Full Force

Complete with corny and punny title!

Anyways, what better idea is there than using your Wiimote as a lightsaber?? None! Complete with wookie bowcasters and cool force powers. Also a one-on-one duel mode.

Cool force powers:

When the lightsaber is off, aim the Wiimote at an object, press a button, and then the object is tethered via force to your 'mote. You can reel it in to make it closer or farther, and use it to smack people! Also, if you aim your force cursor at an opponent's neck, you can choke them.

and thte Lightning from hands force power, of course.

You can look at the speculative next-gen Star Wars game demonstration to see more or less the same things you're talking about. It was quite impressive, though I think Lucasarts has gone on record as saying it represents what would be possible on PS3 and 360 but that the Wii could not handle it. Not sure I agree, but they would know better than I.

I think I would like to see another fishing game in the ilk of that one fishing game on Dreamcast ( with the special controller ) . Except when you get tired of fishing with a pole you can jump into the water with a spear gun and just be a bastard. There could even be a "Fish In Barrel" mode where you are given a shotgun and a barrel full of fish.

It would be the sweetest fishing game ever!!!

Seriously though I would like to see another good fishing game outsite of TLOZ: Twilight Princess. Maybe a good fishing mode in a new Animal Crossing.

I've always wanted a game set in colonial times.

You could be soldier in the Revolutionary war. You could use one of those muskets that have sword things on them too. You could use the wiimote for swordfighting, and aiming your long-distance shots.

They could call it "The Musket Man".

Actually, that's a decent idea. Imagine using the Wiimote to pour the gunpowder, and to shove the bullet down into the barrel. That'd be really cool!

And Minuteman, of course! It's kind've weird I didn't think of that considering I was a minuteman in our revolutionary war wax museum thing in 5th grade.

It would be cool if there was a whole musket attachment too for the wiimote, so that you could actually hold the thing and aim and fire. It would be like an ultra cool versions of Battlegrounds mod or Battlegrounds 2 mod ( for Half-Life and Half-Life 2 respectively ) .

Fencing is a sport never covered in games, and for a good reason. Wii might change that, which would be cool.(of all the sports in the world, fencing is one of the funniest IMO)

I'm going to do what I always do when someone says they want a revolutionary war game - Point you in the direction of battlegrounds.  It's a HL 1 mod with ****ty graphics, but the game is a lot of fun to play.

Granted, it uses a keyboard and mouse instead of the wiimote, but again, it's a lot of fun to play.

OMG... I just thought, what if they made it so you could use old games from the virtual console with the wiimote? Perfect dark + remote anyone?
