Yeah, preferably with all the short cut keys written on it so I know what I'm doing. I hate browsing menus without shortcuts- not that it looks like it'll have many menus untill the city age at least.

I remember back when every game came with a manual you could pick up and take with you, and read anywhere. One of the best things about games when I was little was taking the manual out of the box on the way home from the shop to get a preview. I really do hope we get a proper manual. Last one I saw was for MOO3, I think.

yeah i love getting a good manual and reading it on the way home in the car. But i like good manuals with good info not little ones that tell nothing.

that would work really well tron. Simple enough and it gets the point across, makes you pick up the box.

You know who DOESN'T have good manuals? Vivendi. They have, like, little cards that advertise alienware on one side and have WASD for Half-Life 2 on the other... and all the CDs are in paper baggies!

Agggh! I hate that! Storing all those little paper disc holders is so annoying!

And I thought I was the only one who did that...

One is 'fake', the other is not, guess which!

Maxis seems to do a good job with providing manuals. At least with all the games I have. Except SimIsle, I never could figure that one out.

Haha, the only thing I ever managed in SimIsle was to kill the enviroment.

That was the object of the game, right?

But yeah, I too read manuals on the way home from the store. Even if I'm driving. (See: New Family Guy episode #1 or 2, I forget)

SimIsle was an enigma to me... lol, I could not figure out what to do.
Especially after you found those wierd crystals in the forest... what the heck did they do?!

Oh, manuals. I remember my SimCity2000 manual. That thing is AWESOME. It's like a book, with all this great info.
Haha, I thought I was the only one who read the manual on the way home to get a 'preview' of the game... :P

Are you kidding? What else are you going to do before you can actually play the game?

SimIsle: I did like the way you could change the perspective if the island. And I liked the wallpaper that came with the game.

No, I could never figure out to do anything, unlike the rest of the Simgames you can't actively build anything.

lol, and half of them are oviraptor!lol

Back on topic now then!and dont you dare go off!

I think the best boxart to attract gamers, without being specific is going to either have to be the planet or possible a shot of the galaxy, don't want to be to specific or it would kinda go against the thread of the game dontcha think?
