I think I broke the forum. My crap internet double-posted a topic so I deleted the extra copy.

And then this:

I saw that earlier and worried someone was cementing the tunnels.
Just wake up one day and the whole internet is a featureless grey rectangle without any links.
It happened in my universityís tunnel system so I know what Iím talking about.

Oh, no, to be clear it didnít happen overnight. It happened before I even got there. We had a main tunnel system (which still existed) as well as a tunnel system to connect the dorms to the main campus, and at some point they decided to block the connective tunnels. I heard various rumors as to the reasoning, but never really got a consistent story. Much of my Universityís architectural quirks were subject to rumor though so itís not that out of place.

Tunnel systems are really cool. I love them. But I guess they do demand a certain level of responsibility on the part of the people using them.

At a modern college I don't think I'd trust the student body not to start fights or rape people in the tunnels, so closing them is probably a good idea. But maaan... on a snow day there'd be no excuse not to go to class. And you could efficiently move objects around at night thanks to the flat, enclosed plane. Tunnels. **** yeah.

See, Iím always worried the marker on bags like that is going to smear.

A good Sharpie brand marker works well and doesn't run or smear as long as you label the bag before it is cold or covered in condensate. I let the bag sit for five or ten seconds after I write on it. You can see the sheen of the ink dull as the excess evaporates off.

Part of my job involves packing meat and I constantly accidentally smear the ink by putting it in the fridge too soon. I second letting the ink set for a little bit.
