Topic: How to start a Wiki?

I know a lot of you have experience with Wikis and I have plans to start one for a project. My goal is to make a sort of forum (Not this kind of forum) where I and some friends from school can work on game concepts. A wiki would be good as it would give you the history. And you can follow up who posted what.  Of course if some of you are interested I would not be totally against inviting some of you to this community. Just know that I want this to be semi-serious. Hoping it could potentially lead creating game projects.

So I am interested in any of yours expert advice.

I don't personally know, but I remember Spore and Sagan 4 having fairly in-depth wikis. There was even a GamingSteve wiki.

It might be worth your time to get in touch with Hydromancerx via the forum or (more likely) on Steam. I know a lot of his projects and mods are still ongoing and he usually keeps meticulous catalogs of info past and present. If anyone around here knew, I'd see him first. I also am aware that Oviraptor has experience with wikis, though I am not sure to what extent. Also, I seem to remember Brandon working on the GS wiki, but that could be completely wrong. Just kinda working from memory here.

Well I will try to contact him my self first. He is in my steamfriends list after all. But thanks for the offer. And you could on the off hand always mention it to hydro. He knows who I am.
