The Grekken are a tree dwelling, ape-like species that as a result of living in the treetops have gradually lost the use of their legs. By the time the Grekken have become sentient what remains of their legs is purely vestigal. They swing through th treetops in their Canopy cities, and when on the ground walk on their knuckles like most other apes.

it's a squid and by the looks of it another proof of asymmetry (5 tentacles :P)

Bear in mind that this was the FIRST thing used to test the modelling engine, and therefore cant really be used to support any arguments for/against certain features.

The real problem with the low pressure in space is that your blood boils due to the lack of said pressure. This is what kills you quickly not the exploding which would take a prolonged exposure. Case closed, lets all play nice now and get back on topic, mmmkay?

Also on the blue guy on the bottom left there are some small things that could be wings, then again could be ears as said above.

Ah Super smash brothers, many an evening lost to it's wiles. The best news though - METAKNIGHT, i mean i loved kirby before, and this just makes it 10x better! This game just makes me want the Wii even more.

Anyway, back on topic.

Have to say i was quite sceptical about the use of the 'trading cards' to begin with, but as i've thought about it more and more it's the more viable choice for them for a number of reasons:

1. It's simpler than a full blown encyclopedia so therefore will appeal to a wider audience.
2. It doesn't interfere with the onscreen display as much as an encyclopedia would. I quite liked how each 'page' of trading cards would collapse to the side under the following level of detail. It made the whole thing seem more polished, and saves space.
3. It's got the novelty of a trading card game!

If you check out the 3D models of the creatures from joystiq there clearly is a winged critter there! Personally I think that wings will be placed in the arms section, maybe in their own subsection?

Collumns are unlocked by brains, and the "play" arrow IS test! But it looks like we can't do anything about symmetry...

Like how we have two simmilar arms and two simmilar legs. Someone might want to put an arm opposite a leg instead of a second leg. The left mirriors the right and vice versa.

Aah, thought thats what it might be, guess it has to be done really so that the procedural animation can work.
