Ah man, I completely forgot about Civilization II. That game has never left any of my hard drives for the entirety of my time gaming.
That in addition to Alpha Centauri and Master of Orion II, to a slightly lesser extent. Where do you think I got my user name from? lol :D

Yeah, I already had the architectural portion of the job done, the only remainder was the masonic work.

Huzzah, I just got my first wave of immigrants. All of them useless. Fisherdwarves, despite not having a river, peasants out the wazoo, and the other 7 having jobs of lower rank than those I already have.
Heh, didn't have a trade post built in time, either, so that was amusing. Damnable mason chose to simply do ANYTHING BUT build that thing. After turning off everything BUT masonry, he just sits there with NO JOB! /sigh

lol, can't wait for my first goblin ambush. Got my walls up around both entrances into my fort, and am about to build up to the second story and bridge between the two if I can figure out how to do so...

SimCity 2000
Dungeon Keeper 2 (If it can be considered 'old')
Master of Magic
Stars! (A shame about what happened to Supernova! Genesis)
And I know it's not old, but hell, iirc it's still in Alpha, but:
Dwarf Fortress. It just has an old-school feel to it, you know?

Seriously, when the movie comes out (YES! They ARE making a WWZ MOVIE!!!) I hope they explain the North Korean thing a little better... I mean, what the frell happened? Is that little theory true and there are tens of millions of underground zombies, or are they living underground with kim even more of a 'god' to them, being in complete and total control...? /shivers/ Scary :p  ;D ;)

The scene with juggernaught and kitty just made the movie for me.

/kitty pulls juggernaught into the ground then gets him 'stuck' mid-floor, p*ssing off Juggernaught/
Juggernaught (w/ australian accent) "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH!?!? I'M THE JUGGERNAUGHT, B!TCH!!!" And he proceeds to break out of the floor.
/later on/
Kitty: You don't see me hiding now, do ya? ... d!ckhead!
/juggernaught yells and runs at kitty and the kid, you-know-what happens and i laugh/

"all about killing stuff to get stronger so that you could kill stronger stuff..."

Wow. Just... wow. I think you just described EVERY MMORPG EVER.

Anyway, don't play runescape, you'd be better off committing suicide.

Try Tibia.
Want a link, lazy?
Too bad, I'm lazier than you'll EVER be.  ;)

Yes, I took GREAT pleasure in completing that quest... :D

*Spoilers, but I guess you already knew that*
What would happen if you had already completed the mages guild quest by the time you got to the quest where you are supposed to steal the arch-mage's staff (Ie, YOUR staff)?
