Soo, the game is out. I played it a little at a friends house. They get to the point a bit faster in this game than in it's prequel-progenitor-thing, and the pickpocketing is a ton of fun. The guards seem to lock onto you much faster than in the old one, but there are indicators and stuff now. And there is a Desmond action sequence where you punch guys in the face and get thrown into the trunk of a car. Fun stuff.

You don't naturally regenerate any more, and you have to use instant healing potion medicine. Also, you can change what color your assassin outfit thingy is, if you can cough up the florins. And the buying equiptment would be cool if they gave you access to it, but I only got as far as the first bit of armor. Which is a bit crap, because you are stuck with your hidden blade thing for a bit of the early game, and you can't just take the swords that the guards drop because, erm. But the changing your robes-color-thing is pretty snazzy.

Er, if we don't abuse unique techs and spam fighter-carriers.

I had a dream where I strangled a man in a gutter last night. We were rolling around in a rain soaked gutter and I remember the feeling of being covered in grit and feeling soggy. And the hot, painfull sensation I felt when I jabbed my thumbs into the other mans eyes. Then I punched him in the gut and strangled him to death, slid next to him and lay in the gutter staring at the sky until I woke up. I remember the other guy steadily getting colder as I lay next to him.

I still feel shaken up about it, and I've been awake for half the day now. :(

I didn't laugh at anything in this thread except for the assassin. Especially the "Ssssh!" on the bench.

Some dude?

Possibly a chick?

Nah. Then it would just devolve further.

We're going to lose it eventually. We're not special, and we certainly aren't alex mercer. Er.

I hope. Otherwise:

There's no cure for the affliction, such as it is. This presents two options.

1. We turn into one of those pathetic things, and lose our minds.
2. We commit suicide so there's one less for the survivors to deal with.
3. We try and take down as many people as possible, because we're an arse.
