Hopefully he has fun at his new job! ;D The sad part is this means since Maxis retains the rights to Simcity , we wont see a WW Simcity any time soon. :'( Which is fine and good I suppose. I mean we have companies like Monte Cristo trying there best at CitiesXL. Things change. :)

I'm curious how easy it would be to add anything to this game as far as combat is concerned. I definitely would like to see the ability to make ground troops which I could drag into a ship and drop them onto a planet and use them the same way I would as in civ stage. The only question is how would they handle switching between UFO control and combat control. Hrmm actually they sort of can do something like that in a few instances...

Well I can hope for the best ;D

With the release of fallout 3 I basically quite spore for the time being. So I haven't played in 2 weeks I think. I honestly what to play more but I just needed a change of pace. I also haven't manage to get the parts pack due to money so I have a hard time getting back into the game knowing I dont have all the parts there are.

I actually was a high level hunter and played around 100 characters to cap in the day but I quite due to getting a girlfriend. Amazing how much time they take... They make a raid look like a walk in the park :D Although the stat boosts are unimaginable ;D

That being said I literally had to give away all of my epic gear, give my gold away and make it utterly impossible to play my character to quite totally. Years away from WoW and I still have the urge... ;)

Frankly I have to reinstall Spore every time I do a patch. Mostly because the game isn't updating all the appropriate files due to flag errors. Its a really annoying bug. As long as they keep giving me more installs like they have Im just peachy. So far the DRM folks have been great! :D

Wait? Red died? Not in mine. I saved them all. Mind you I figured I knew where they were going to come from so I ran down the road outside town and set up a field of mines. None of them ever got out alive. I went back to town and they were all fine. Very happy to see me too, scream our hero!  ;D

I did end up having the weirdest time at the Super-Duper Mart. I left the intercom near the front desk on and heard the leader getting in a scuffle with his buddy. Some sort of argument. I got to the intercom and there both dead! Freaked me out! I guess they killed each other. Then I leave the building and three hunters are there and a kid is running up to me for help and.. they start shooting at the kid! WTF?! I had to kill the hunters and get a Karma drop. Mind you I was a messiah lol. So it wasn't much of a drop.

Hrmm then I had the strangest time as a Raider camp where I shot near a raiders feet. He thought his buddy did  it and started to attack his friend, soon the whole camp was killing each other. I just stood back watching the fire works until the last one was standing and a other was running. Killed them both and just shook my head and moved on.

OH OH! I also attacked a army of super mutants with my ripper! WAHAHAHAH! TO FUNNY! I cut one of the mutants arms off and the others went and I quote, HE BAD RUN FOR DA HILLLLLLSSS!!! I had 8 mutants running from me and they got stuck on a fence. What a massacre!

The AI in Fallout 3 is really.. COOL! ;D

I can actually remember the first game to actually influence how I creatively think. Monopoly. Strange as it sounds I remember realizing the beauty of order when I was 5 years old. I started to see patterns in the arts. Structure was beautiful I realized. This caused me to get into Drafting. As a art though.

Eventually Simcity, Sim Earth and Sim Ant all caused me to perceive the arts in new manners. Sim Earth moreso because I started to see life in terms of artistic beauty. I also saw natures use of beauty as a mechanism. Flowers appealing to base desires. The result being this preconceived notion of beauty.

Yeah, simply a blast! Plus it seems after I hit a enemy with the ripper the psychological effects are pronounced. I had a whole pack of Raiders running in fear hahaha. :D

Right now Id recommend anyone who likes slower leveling to go to http://www.fallout3nexus.com/ and get one of the Xp mods. I prefer the one called the XP Increaser. Its name is deceptive. In reality it increases how much you need per level. This gives you more time to explore the content of the game without being forced out of a area due to lack of exp game. FAR funner for me ;D

I also recommend the Revelation UI mod. Cleaner and easier to read by far. There is also a run speed mod which makes running just 10 percent faster. This makes fps FAR more palatable to those with fps tastes. Frankly the games just funner.

I also would like to say, when a mutant falls into a hole... TO FUNNNNNN! I just had a mutie fall into a hole and had the pleasure of dropping grenades on him at my own pace:P Lol sloooow torture!

Not sure how I could enjoy a game more then this. Just got myself a mini chainsaw... Simply FUN!

P.S. Dark go to the Bethesda Forums. I see to remember this problem and people finding the solutions ;D

Ah shucks, that means we have to have Charisma past six to hear all they have to hear?
Hrmm thats not a issue now:D
Someone just made a level cap mod! You can level up to level 40. Which means more perks, skills and specials ;D http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=121

Flamer fuel? You do realize there is no new oil being produced in the Fallout world right? As in in that alternative world, its all gone. Save for the rare fuel you can salvage.  There was a fuel supply off the coast of the NCR , the last in the world, but it was blown up by the chosen one in fallout 2.

Oh and as for high charisma. Did it give new dialogues at all or did you just get to use the ones which were positive more often? I'm not much of a talker. So I dont think I need any charisma past 6.

Uh please explain. I'm not home so I cant test it. Does it allow you to basically get out of any negotiation as the winner? If so thats not exactly a winners button if you intend to be a combatant. :)

Was playing Spore but I am seriously distracted by fallout 3 now. I seem to be spending more time on F3 then I have even on Spore and that says a LOT! Something about wandering through the waste has always compelled me :D

At the moment Im using a:
 5 str , 7 percept., 5 End. , 6 Charisma , 10 Int. , 8 Agil. 7 luck build.
This is basically identical to my Fallout 3 build which was also a Gunsmith/Sniper/Scavenger. The Perception basically allows me to use my weapon perks related to rifles and pistols. The charisma 6 appears to open up most of the dialouges I want.  The lucky helps with that as well. Although luck is great for combat as well. i get a ton of crits. The INT is so I have more points to put into Small guns and such. You get 20 points per level at 10 INT. Agil is so I have Action points, plus action boy. Plus the grim reaper. I stay in vats forever at this point. Its a turned based combat style and very fun.

Overall only Int. is necessary to be at 10. The rest are optional and linked to perks. Charisma actually may end up being more important. I have to test and see what types of dialogues require higher charisma.

A shame I messed up my character development last night. I didnt understand the skills system well enough. I LOVE THE GAME THOUGH! I'm sorta going after making a Swordsman\Gunslinger with a penchant for being able to fix things mechanically. Not someone interested in having tons of armour on. I ran into the school with the Raiders before I even got to Megaton. Man what a blast! Spent way over a hour figuring out my combat style. Sneaking up behind a enemy, blowing off a leg then bashing there brain in with a baseball bat seems to be my favourite style now ;D Just made it into megaton. Learning to disarm the bomb. Figured it was a issue that needed to be dealt with before I even look for my dad. Hell.. just makes me nervous having one of those things near the vault hehe. After all Amata is there.

SO much to do! SO ENJOYABLE! ;D
