Its like a mix of Prison Architect and a Theme Park Tycoon game. But focused on an airport! :D

With that Ice Sheet in the south connecting the Canada/Alaska part to the Antarctica part thats going to have some very weird cross pollination of fauna. Such a Penguins with Polar Bears sort of deal.

I wonder how the penguins will even survive being connected to the mainland and also ice sheet. Seems like predators could come at eat them on land or even raid their ground nests.

Well I have never done drugs or even drank alcohol. The first week i considered having a drink but needed to be focused to deal with all the doctors every day. While I can keep my mind occupied on other things I still need to experience all the pain and mourning if I am ever going to get back to "normal". Every time I have a big cry I do feel a lot better afterwards.

Yoss has been helpful in talking to on steam. I also have one person from my Caveman2Cosmos modding days who has been very helpful to talk to. My family is also of course very helpful but I know a lot of the time they get sad too if I talk to them.

I am just taking things day by day. I read an article about mourning a parents death and it said that the mourning period was equal to how much you loved them and they loved you back. And since I was closer to my mom than anyone else in my family I know it will take me a very long time for this.

My mom use to say "You are only as old as you feel, and I feel like I am in my 20's still!" So when we made the programs for the funeral we picked a picture from when she was in her 20's. And for her obituary we picked one from just last month when she went to a baby shower for my cousin's new baby.

Here is the online obituary. I also have a physical copy from the newspaper on that day. My sister wrote the obituary. And I think she did great.

All I can say is make sure you tell your parents you love them frequently. I always did. You never know when you will loose them.

Thanks you guys. Its good to hear such kind words from you guys. Especially those of you who have been around since the Pre-Spore days.

My mom was never on the computer too much but for a short time during the mid 2000s she had a laptop. And I made a wallpaper with all my Spore creatures for her. I am not sure how much she liked them, but since it was made by me she loved it.

She was also nice enough to drive me all the way to the GDC 2006 that year to see the Spore demo and meet Will Wright. She was so selfless and always put her family before herself. I am so proud to have her as my mom.

I tried to find a topic for this but I did not see one. So here goes ...

My mom died on April 14th 2017 at 7:49 pm PST. She was in the hospital with pneumonia since March 27th. My dad, sister and I took turns staying with her until the very end. I cannot stop crying.  :(

Also my motherboard died 2 weeks ago and I had to basically get a new computer. While my hard drives were fine I have to move stuff all back again to the new C drive and I am not in the best mental state to be doing computer stuff.

The funeral will be on Thursday March 20th at 11 am. My heart hurts so much I feel like I am going to die.  :'(

Today's episode was like "Samurai Tomb Raider".

I made some minor changes. Nothing big, but it satisfies my perfectionist itch.

  • Added Seychelles (To the island that was formerly the Canaries)
  • Subsequently moved the Canaries to an island on the atlantic coast of africa (which makes more sense anyway)
  • Added "Various polynesian islands" to the australasian sea. I'm too lazy to label every one of those. You can figure it out. :P I mean, the fauna and flora should be fairly homogenic anyway.
  • Added a little strip of Middle Europe to separate Iberia from Caucasus. This also means that Middle Europe now touches the mediterranean coast. Imagine those parts to equal Italy and Greece in terms of ecozone.

Looks like you guys have been busy. I am sad to see no Easter Island on the map. Otherwise it looks cool!
