The folkways have changed since your father's time. Being on the computer is comparable with chatting on the phone or hitting up the diner on the corner. Video games are the new pastime, it's all highly social. I mean, you can argue that by playing a game of football you're really not accomplishing anything. At the computer you're trading physical exercise for mental exercise.

Not sure if that applies to you, Andrew... lolcats and penis references don't exactly expand the mind. :P

Today as I was watching an awesome episode of Stargate (The one where they went to the Halls of Thor and did several tests) my cousin decides to magically watch the television during an ad break, and I'm pissed because I ALWAYS miss the ending's of most Stargate episodes I watch >:( I hate sharing one television with five other people >:
(Oh, and it only airs at like 2AM, on most days anyway)

It's so cool when Spore crashes after well over two hours of play.
It had been awhile since I've played so I totally forgot the game doesn't autosave at all.

Or only has one auto-save and auto-saves you right into a bad place...

I have a gripe with people who only rarely visit forums, then spontaneously return for only brief periods, contributing nothing but the lingering memory of their presence.

Oblivion is a dick. After like 2 hours of gameplay, it usually crashes after a crap autosave (like me deciding to attack this dude and fleeing) or right before I decide to save.
