Yay! Nintendo had me kind of worried when the didn't announce anything in their press conference.

I am kind of dissapointed that they aren't implementing the new controller at all, but I guess you shouldn't fix something that isn't broken. I just can't help but think that without the new controller, it'll be Super Smash Bros Melee+online mode.

Its a little dissapointing that it won't make launch, but with Mario Galaxy, Red Steel, Metroid, and others, it shouldn't be a bad launch at all. I just hope they take as long as they need to to make this thing perfect.

I'm still baffled as to how they allowed this game to lie dormant until 2007.  SSB is good but it's not so demanding of revolutionary gameplay that it shouldn't have gotten a sequel in this generation.  Just as Sony and Microsoft think too much about the financials--okay, I don't know WHAT Microsoft is thinking about!--Nintendo doesn't seem to focus enough on making money.  If they did then we would have this game already.

But the Solid Snake thing sounds intriguing.  The special-guest-star trend in fighters is a good one.
