I have no idea what to think about this one.

On the one hand I am really, really excited for a new Paper Mario game. BUT. I mean we've played the last several Paper Mario games. We know where this series is headed and we lived the bait-and-switch of "Mario & Luigi becoming the mainline RPG series"... they CANCELED it. And then left us with lame-ass Paper Mario entries. So I do not know. The combat looks somewhat compelling but what we have seen is also clearly tutorial combat. I need to see a lot more complexity before I am sold on this game.

It looks... compelling? Maybe? But I just don't know...

Hmm... it looks very okay. Still not sure if I trust this series enough not to be a huge disappointment. But it looks better than the first video made it out to be.

Sorry, man, I know you were complaining about people not replying to your threads but I don't know **** about Paper Mario. I played Superstar Saga though. How'd you like that?

I've been replaying Thousand Year Door recently. It's still so ****ing good. Very sad to see this weird ring ****, honestly.

Thousand Year Door is the best that formula ever got and it's a crime that they never improved upon it. The Mario & Luigi series on the other hand is pretty good, though I have not played the newer ones. I remember Nintendo stating that they were going to make Mario & Luigi their "RPG" series while Paper Mario would become more focused on "story"; then Nintendo was like "Oh by the way we're more or less not making any more Mario & Luigi games LOL!"
