Ratchet: Deadlocked
« on: April 15, 2005, 10:32:43 am »
The video previews of this game are awesome.  This looks like a big improvement over UYA which in my opinion wasn't as good as GC.  The great thing about this series is the originality, innovation, and thoughtfullness put into each game.   Looking forward to this.

Look at this review: http://ps2.gamezone.com/gzreviews/p26257.htm (11-12th paragraph), they actually said Auto Con instead of Otacon (MGS)  :)

And they're still some of the best games available for the PS2.
Why do you park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?

Yes they do. I can not understand for the life of me how on earth they get those games so damn fast. And they're all so great. They really are amazing developers, one of the very best in the business.

Personaly I prefered the Jak and Daxter franchise. Weren't they made by the same people anyway? Ratchet and Clank was cool too though but I only played the demos.

Zing!

Seems to me Ratchet and Clanck is a poorly disguised ripoff of Banjo-kzooie.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Maybe you simply don't like the game.  :P

And the reason the crank the games out so fast: slightly reworking the original engine.

Jak and daxter: Naughty dog (crash bandicoot)
Ratchet and clank: Insomniac (Spyro, but only the ps1 games. Ya know, the GOOD ones. Not to criticizse the new ones, but I don't care for em'.)
