well can i move up and down in the water and in the air coz i noticed that in the video  the "swimmy guy" never moves up or down , only horizontally, will they be developing underwater movement

They're on a private tropical island, sipping margaritas and laughing because they know you think they're developing Spore.

That, or finalizing content, sound, artwork (I guess there isn't much, if any of this) etc, and of course, bug smashing.

Sound and bug testing as well as balancing passes are usually the last things to be done so hopefully their doing those  :P They could also be adding in a small desired easily fullfilled feature here and there.

or maybe they dont ant to be like the other game studios <lionhead!> and hype it so much before release that the hype was actually more fun than the game. Who says 4 months anyway? July isnt in autumn (fall ::)).
