Topic: Finnish Rock bands

i have always loved Finnish Rock bands, but i don't really show it or anything because not many other people i know like them however i have noticed that Apocalyptica are becoming quite popular in Britain thanks to songs such as I'm not Jesus  which have really helped establish them.


anyway i just wanted to know what other people from around the world think of finnish rock bands.

give me you'r 2 cents.

Northern Europe seems to be a good place for heavy metal/rock bands like Rammstein, Lordi and Apocalyptica.

i like apocalyptica's cover of enter sandman, i was listening to it in psychology while i was working and my friend pulled out one of the head phones and put it to his ear then was shocked that i like apocalyptica because apparently i look like the kind of guy who likes indie ****.

northern Europe is the main area for bands like Ramstein because thats the area they tour most. apart from the Rasmus, that bastard Ylonen said they're not going to tour britain anymore.

no-one i know would agree with that statement.

most of my friends like stuff like Panic! at the Disco or bands like the foo fighters whom i usually used to think are quite good but i have really gone off them lately.

I saw apocayptica live on the 7th. It the best live performance i've ever seen! i also bought an awesome hoodie.

Northern Europe rock bands are ok... but there's a lot of them that arent, like HIM, the Rasmus, Lordi and some more... The rest that I have heard is ok.. In Flames are quite good, but mainly cause they are from Sweden
