This species has a mentality that is incredibly similar to the old colonial nations of Europe, so i named them accordingly.



These guys are about 4 foot tall, they're not strong, they're not fast, but they are intelligent and dextrous. Before their planet united (through mostly peaceful means) they built a massive number of huge cities going accross their planet, they are obsessed with increasing their population and territories.

a lowdown of their technology is:

incredibly advanced terraforming and planet manipulation technologies.
Basic/simple weapons.
advanced defensive technology

they destroy any wildlife a planet under their control might have.

While they are obsecced with increasing territory size and population they would never even think of attacking an intelligent and advanced race, however they beleive that a sapient species in tribal stage is fare game, infact they even prefer to have to use their basic weapons to destroy a tribal civilisation before colonising their planet

when they find any planet, they immediatly consider wether or not it is a suitable target for colonisation and if it is, they begin the process A.S.A.P and if the planet is not suitable (the only reasons why it wouldn't be is because it has advanced life on) they immediatly negotiate an Alliance.

If attacked, they will fight back but they are absoloutly awful at warfare against their eqauls and so they make sure that no race would ever want to attack them by being incredibly diplomaticly kind, as a result they have many allies and are very well connected but they would never ask anything of their allies to ensure that they will help the colonials defend their colonies if a warlike race attacks them.

They are also a member of the U.S.R alliance but would love to join any other N.A.T.O like alliances that utilise collective defence.

i remember a while back hearing that the president of the U.S.A , the prime minister of canada and the president of mexico had all agreed to unite their countries and form the North American Union, however the president did so without congress, the senate or anyone else agreeing with him.

whatever happened after that? obviously they didn't unite but did the president persue the idea or drop it or what?
