If you made a big cylinder and set it spinning really fast you could walk around on the walls and adjust gravity that way. But I don't know of anything other than the NASA centerfuge type things.

It's physically possible to override to gravitational force by the electromagnetic force, but the energy required to localize such a change would be really, REALLY phenomenal.  So, no.  No one's made anything that truly can negate/increase gravity.... they merely fool it with common forces like that of a centrifuge or high altitude jets.

Sort of related.. but has anyone else done Mission Space at Epcot?  You feel like your in a space shuttle lifting off into space.  They get this feeing by basicy putting you in a huge spinning centerfuge. They tell you not to close your eyes or look to the side or you'll get dizzy and sick. They even put puke bags in the ride.  Your only suppose to look at the screen in front of you that shows you lifting off into space.  Way cool ride... and by the way.. I did close my eyes and looked around cause spinning doesn't make me sick.

Actually they have.  Its very small, but in my Physics class in college we saw a video of a machine that did this.  They showed both a bunch of water and a frog floating around , just like in zero g, but on earth.  It was neat.

Ok, technically you could build a structure in different parts of the earth and experience different levels of gravity (bue to ground density, distance from the center of the earth, the pull of the moon on your body (tides come from somewhere folks)) but I'm sure we're not looking at levels that you'd notice or care about.

What if you just strapped weights to your body? I know they make ankle and wrist weights to build up muscle, and I'm guessing they make shirts that can be weighted... It does increases the effects of gravity (albeit in a round-a-bout way) right?

Yes, but the uneven distribution of weights causes problems for ligaments and tendons.

Constantly accelerate. You'd also get the illusion that you're travelling faster than light because you'd have a "hidden region" behind you.
