All of this happened while I was sleeping. Maybe I should stop doing that.

"No, she isn't yet..."

Exactly how drunk is this guy?

"You do know why we're all here, right?"

Marcus and his team all wore the cliche suit and shades outfit and carried a couple of shotguns and an assault rifle between them. The government issue weapons were a great deal better than most of the air guns and second hand hunting rifles that had found their way into the armoury. Walking around looking like this it was no suprise that someone would mistake them for the 'guards' of this little community, but Marcus didn't like to think of it like that, everyone just did what they could to help.

This scrawny looking kid was enthusiastic enough, the chainsaw was an odd choice, at least the guy could handle a handgun.

"Errr, thanks kid. You must be new, let me introduce myself, I'm Agent Marcus Lancet-Coburn, FBI, but you can just call me Marcus. These are my two agents, Jackson and Adams, and this is Agent Rick Mallon, CIA."

Marcus' spoke in a particularly strong New York accent, something that sounded out of place down in Memphis;

"That's an odd contraption you've got there, doesn't look much use to me but that Eagle on the other hand, mind if I take a look at it..."

Marcus inspected the gun, it looked like it had seen a fair bit of use and could do with a good clean, but despite that it was a good quality firearm,

"I wouldn't discount this thing so easily son, I'm surprised you've got the strength to handle it but you'd do well to keep hold of it. We're heading inside for the night, you should probably do the same."

Marcus turned to walk away, his team close behind.

Saw this on "Exit Through The Gift Shop", and it's pretty damn good.

There must have only been about 20 or so people hold out here at the university when Marcus arrived three weeks ago; but with 6 or 7 newbies turning up every day, the supply of zombie free living space had been dwindling. Marcus' team had been busy all day, clearing out a portion the residential halls so some of the growing number of people could be rehoused, a job that had taken nearly a week.

"Any more in there Agent Jackson?"

"Just two chief, but we got 'em"

"Well, looks like we're finally clear in here, good job boys, lets head home."

Heading out across the courtyard he heard the usual announcement blaring from the loudspeakers, and the last convoy was just returning. It was amazing the amount of organisation that had sprung up out of the anarchy here in the past month, that had been the result of strong leadership. Marcus was looking forward to getting some food and on the menu tonight was spaghetti; it hadn't been long enough for them to run out of decent food yet, but there was no certainty of how long that situation would last.

What's the policy on actually sticking to the real life map of memphis?

I'm going (back) into the story!

Johnathan's apartment was nicer than I was expecting, there were already about 30 people there but the place could easily accommodate a hundred or so, and the decor wasn't really my style, but was immaculate non the less. I took a glass of champagne from one of the waiters, it was a relatively good vintage chardonnay, commendable at least. Leaving Amelia to speak to some friends I made my way over to the food, having not eaten since breakfast.

It was an odd choice to set out the food on a grand piano, but no matter, food was food and I was hungry. The man beside me looked out of place here, he was wearing a strange combination of faded purple corduroy slacks and a torn wastecoat, and already appeared to be more than a little drunk. Just the kind of man I like to speak to;

"So, how do you know my daughter?"

I watched my brother suffocate a wasp in toxic fumes today, he's doing a zoology degree and collects insect specimins, so he's like bug hitler with his little bug gas chamber.

25
I didn't.

I just left one character to do another one, I might go back to my first one soon or do a different one again depending on what happens, I thought that was the point of this rp?

26
It appears I'm dead, oh well, though I'm pretty sure the airforce is going to respond fairly quickly to that sort of attack on a civilian airport, the interceptors should be in the air soon.

There's not much more i can do though...

I'm exiting the story.

27
I'm exiting the story

I'm going into the story!

This was weird, i could have sworn there wasn't anywhere in central park for aircraft to take off...

"Attention all pilots this is Air Traffic Control, we have an unidentified, low flying light aircraft over manhattan, could any aircraft fitting this description please identify yourself,"

28
I'm leaving my character behind for now, but I'd like to briefly mention some of the plan i was building up for him, which is basically that he's a big player in a mafia family, and given the magical aspect of the world that detox introduced, the mafia in this world is an organisation built around magic.

That's about as far as i got with the idea, if people want to they can run with it.

Both started as with initiative violence coming from the police.

This is a vast over simplification, the 1985 riots were caused by credible accusations of institutionalized racism in the police. These riots were intially sparked because the police fatally shot a gang member carrying a gun, and then a lot more rioting happened with no connection to the original motivation but simply because people realised they could.

You don't decide to pillage on a whim

Yes they do.

Still one must respect that they do have a certain feeling of extreme anger

The vast majority of these people aren't doing this out of any sort of anger
