That is correct, Oviraptor, my brother. We were amongst the first wave, right when the very first info on Spore was coming out. Steve had that delicious GDCe podcast detailing the video that wouldn't be released for months to come. It was glorious.
I miss you all. What have you guys been up to since Spore came out? That's right about when I left.
I take it you guys still frequent these forums? Any other oldbies still hanging around?

Allow me to play devil's advocate for a moment... only because it seems to be a very popular line in this thread.
But in all actuality, I disagree with Hydro and the like, and agree with azareon and such.
You uploaded it, it's there for people to do whatever they please with. That's what Spore's about.
I know you spent all sorts of time on the Naucean and such, I remember when it was the first MY NEW CREATURE thread, and I followed it for quite some time.
But if you didn't want people touching it, you shouldn't have uploaded it, and that's that.

Using it just makes me long for Spore so much more.
Actually playing the game, having the planet around you, evolving, and all that jazz.
It doesn't ruin anything, but it makes the short wait seem so much longer.
