btw you can see the watermark for the website but for some reason its down. Also there is some talk that it might be fake.

they look a little fake to me, if you look at the meadows in the background, they look just like photos with 3D buildings stuck on top :-\

another thing, the console part looks too blocky. if they spent so much time making the game look as neat as that, they would have a better looking information console. looks neat, just hard to believe it's the real thing.

Actually they look photoshopped with images from google earth, so i'm guessing fake, but you never know. Simcity5 is more of a mystery then spore. We know they're working on it. (One of the developers at maxis got in some trouble when mentioning that to a french magazine about a year ago...) And things like that, weather (like the fog) compleate circular roads and some of the other things there, probably are advances maxis is planning on making...

Maxis said that eveyone working there was currently working on Spore.  They will make a Sim City 5, but I doubt they're doing so now.

If the next Simcity looked like that, I doubt I'd buy it.
I'm still pretty dead set with the look and feel of Simcity 4, so...

oh come on!!  do you see any grid structure in that city?  it's almost entirely radial lines and organic curves.

Looks similar to the Sims 3 mockups...

Won't Spore kind of function as a SimCity Game?

1st came the Sims.
2nd came Simcity 4, which allowed you to import Sims into your city.
3rd came Sims 2, which allowed you to import terrains from Simcity 4.
4th comes spore?
