I have to say that Quake 4 is da BOMB.  I was afraid it was going to be a lot like Doom 3 which is a very good game in itself.

Quake totally blew me away.  The missions are challenging and fun as you have a squad of people helping you that will fix your armor and your health as long as they do not get killed.

There are some neat puzzles too and just when you think you've cleared the room more Strogg show up and one has a tazzer like device on his body and it is really cool when he hits the floor with it and you get stunned.  I was always wondering what was around the coner when I tripped a security device and got blowed up when a machine GUNS popped outta the ceiling!!

If you are an FPS person you NEED this game.  Yes you do need a high end machine to run it but it is so worth it!!  A friend of mine is having a Quake Lanathon this weekend and I"m going and bringing my PC so I try it out in a lan setting and I'll let ya'll know how it goes!!

Yeah I heard the Singleplayer was really good, but the multiplayer seemed too much like Quake 3.  I may get it if I can get my comp upgraded.

I just finished the game up not five minutes ago.


Pretty good.


I did enjoy Half-Life 2 more however.
