welcome giga!

ok im still a little confused.  Let me provide background.

In earlier incarnations of the spore game we have today, there was an under water stage that existed between being a cell and before you could exist on land.  I'm talking about a 3d creature that swims up and down, not on a single plane.

They have made statements about cutting out the water stage past cell and going straight from cell to land.

When you talk about the water stage,. you're only referring to the cell stage right?  I can see from your perspective you could call that the water stage, but for us, that has a different meaning.

I think it has been determined that he was speaking about staying a cell, not becoming a full underwater race.

Looks like they banned Giga at facepunch for posting a "Image macro".  ???
If you see the post (# 788) it's very hard to imagine you even get banned for that.

Yikes those forums have harsh rules.  It's like every time a moderator is annoyed by something, he adds it as a rule and bans the person who did it.
Warning: Hot.  Choking Hazard for children under 3.  Please do not exit until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.  EULA removes all human rights.  Special features are not rated.  Side effects include  cardiac arrest and spontaneous falling off of body parts.  May contain nuts.  Acts are being performed by trained proffesionals.  Results not typical.  Thank you for flying with United Airlines.

Being a member of facepunch for some time now, I can tell you, being banned on facepunch for stupid stuff is a common thing, people even make jokes around facepunch bans  :D

You wouldn't last 5 minutes there.

Also, I got Giga_King on steam friends, I'll ask him.

Hey!  I saw a thread there titled "Anyone who posts here is banned".  A mod came in and banned everyone who posted in it.

WTF?  Do the mods try to ban people in any way possible?

Don't complain, people got warned and if you were a regular member of facepunch you'd know they actually mean it when they warn :P

I agree with your statement that they are warned, but i would never join such a forum.
Seriously what fun is there in the fact you could be banned for every little mistake you make in a post.
Haven't they heard of a 1st warning?
Banning always is a bad option, unless a person practically asks for it by continuously breaking the rules.
The way they do it, in the long end, will destroy more then it does good.
To be honest i never saw a forum with so many banned members before "or should i say ex-members?".

I think they have some rule that if you ask to be banned, you get banned.

Speaking of which..Can I be banned?

User was banned for this post.
They're collectible! Sorta...

The way they do it works, and unlike TTT says, the rules are there, nobody is adding them at will...

I joined facepunch cause it's the official gmod forums, I've only been banned once for 7 days because I broke one rule I didn't read.

Seriously, there are a lot of abusive and stupid people in facepunch and if they're not afraid of getting banned chaos will pervail.
