Spore: General / Re: The Most important Creature Question EVER!!!!!
« on: December 09, 2006, 07:36:26 am »
As far as we know, the Slug you will controll, when you crawl out of the primordial soup, has no legs...otherwise it wouldn't be a slug.
I can remember, that the only part, the slug has, is a mouth, not more...

---> Creatures without legs are doable, you can even make a creature without a mouth, WW said.

When he said you start as a slug he means in the creature editor as it seems that is teh first thing yuo enter before you go on to land (or water if its in there) he didnt mean you start as a slug in teh creature satge, god how many times do I have to say this it isnt that hard to think of.

« on: November 20, 2006, 12:17:21 pm »
well this topic seems to be dying so i will say somethign realy quiclkly

if this is right (which i dont think it is) then why the hell is it coming out on DS first, everthing weve seen so far is on PC so why would it go to DS first, ok thats kind of my agrument for why it is not true. OH well if i dont listen to it it won't affect me. If it does come out on DS i am defeintly getting one, there cheap now anyway.

oh well carry on letting teh topic slowly rot away.

maybe in city and above stages you just lose and you got to start form your last save point, thats seems to be the easyest way around it but i think going the back a tech stage is good but i dont know how that would work in thos stages, are there any real tech trees in the city and civ, (please prove me wrong if i am i want tech tress."

- the next seems to be a love meter of some kind im guessing wen u call out and get a reply from another creature ready to love it fills up depending on how close she is. but thats only a guess so and sguggestions would b great

ive just watched a video and saw that this clock is dimmed out at the begging of teh video then the screeble kills a creature and the clock turn pink and then the creature goes and mate so I think it shows when your creature is cable of mating.

Spore: General / Re: ...but will Spore sell?
« on: November 13, 2006, 08:42:32 am »
Well this guy wants to be hated!

Oh come on whats on about casual gamers wont buy it. First of all most causal gamers will by game if it has a TV ad and there agem magazine which they ocaisonal get says its number one in there chart (which all game magaizine will probaly be saying in 2007 from response weve seen now). This guy aint clue and teh comment
Quote
Spore, by contrast, involves bizarre, blobby creatures running around on alien landscapes, often killing and eating each other.
really ticked me of, exuse me blobby creaturs, how dare he has he seen an fan art look at hydros naucen i realy cant say thats a blobby creature. Also ive told load of causal gamers about this game even people i know who never play on there computer and they seem to love the idea, this guy needs to do his research before he starts raving about rubbish.

Ok he is aloud his appinon but isnt aloud one if it is complete bull

- the next meter is the DNA meter which as far as i no to get DNA points you will have to eat others eggs but the is probably more which we havent been showen yet

For heavnes sake why did people keeps saying only eggs give you DNA points, with clearly seen that in videos anything you eat gives you DNA points just not egs.

Like in one video we see the screeble eat the little pink thing and gets DNA points and the guy playing even points out that he gets DNA points from eating the creature.

Spore: General / Re: Social should NOT be determined by body parts.
« on: October 22, 2006, 12:08:16 pm »
Are you talking about my post? I'm saying that they shouldn't. For the mouths, rows seem to be organized by type (e.g.  carnivorous beaks) with the columns representing the same stats (i.e. a wolf mouth in the same column as a beak should have the same bite strength AFAIK.

The person that wrote the first post assumes that "human-like" hands have the highest social stat. However, an insect limb in the same column should be just as good.

Rows represen part ranks (those on the left being worse than those on the right) while the columns seem only to represent cosmetic differences.

no i was replying back to rbpolsen post, not yours. sorry for teh inconvince

Spore: General / Re: Is Spore going to be like the "Matrix"?
« on: October 22, 2006, 12:02:34 pm »
Well if you ask me were already in a matrix, controlled by a super race or AI computers, steeling are thoughts to feed the create one, who they see (super race, AI) as a God, but is really a super super computer in it self.

Nah only kidding.

Ok back on topic, you saying that you want you creatures to come alive in the real world, using computer, or you go in the computer world, using some kind of virtual reality matrix thing.
