Hey guys, i was wonderin if you can acctual walk on other planets. Yano, park your UFO down and take a step on the strange new world. Perhaps teams of your creatures could excavate or even become spies or sumthin. Maybe this could make space suits available to edit. Mmmm, that would be nice

Can you beam down creatures onto the surface of other planets? Absolutely. This was also shown in one of the videos.

Spacesuits are unlikely, but there's always the domed colonies.

i really love this, land on a planet that has an atmosphere and directly control the guy that comes out, i would love the ufo to have weels as well but these are unlikly to be included

Oh the (highly unlikly) possibilities!

With the peeps gettin out of UFO thing, they could start mining or somthin. Just think, you could have multi-cultural cities, or even make first contact by foot.

But wait! when colonizing a new planet, do you beam peeps from your species to the other planet?
and, can you ONLY controle the UFO in space stage?

you can control tanks through the ufo, its actually easier, because you can support them directly using the ufo,

Oooo, just ada thought! If another civ reaches space stage in your game (is its possible) will you see there UFO whizzing past?
Also, i was wonderin about the E3 vid. The way Will gets a message from his homeworld about an attack. How are they attacking?

they said thats very rare to actually see there UFO stop and fire its gun or anything, but they are there, according to will wright "you'll be lucky to see it wizz by"

Very little is known about the control during the UFO stage. It would be nice if you could control whole starship fleets and land on planets and have spacesuits and whatnot. That would really be the best part for me, however I'm doubtful they'll add these in
