Interstellar

Guys.  Go see this movie.  I went into it not knowing exactly what to expect, other than a space movie by Christopher Nolan.  It's the best movie I've seen this year and the best scifi I've seen in a long time.  The visuals are jaw dropping and music and sound are used amazingly well.  And in a rare occurrence for a scifi movie, actual scientific theories are key points in the story.

Probably not a Goat, either.

I was disappointed by this movie. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it, I just had really high expectations. I really liked it.

The main thing was the love stuff. "Love transcends dimensions" etc etc. It really took me out of the film and didn't strike me as necessary. I had a few other issues but this guy hits on a good amount of them in better words than my own: (Though I don't agree with his final rating.)

Yeah, but that can be written off as astronauts going a bit nuts with cabin fever without it really damaging the plot.

Cabin fever? From the astronauts perspective they were probably only on the ship a few days/weeks...

Sorry for the nercomancy... Actually I am not! I finally got to see the movie and I loved it! Awesome! I can see why some compare it with 2001. And it has a bit of that vibe. But this is so much more human. And I do not agree with the critique about the Love transcends dimensions considering it so well tried together. Is a movie that sometimes fools you in to thinking there is something magical going on but in the end is all us! Love is not at odds with science. It is love that motivates the science in the movie.

Exactly!  There was no love being magic, it was recursive time shenanigans from science advanced beyond our knowledge.   ....Which is a bit like magic.

I actually did see that coming. But I like the story anyway even if predictable.
