Who's Chris?

Taylor. Creator of Total Annihilation and founder of Gas Powered Games.

Wow. How did you get to talk with him?

It's in the other SC topic I posted. I've kept in touch with him since he was working on Total Annihilation, I've chatted with his wife on occasion,  I've known him for a long time, that's how I got in the friends and family beta.

Apparantly next months PC gamer has a playable demo, although that could be either a PC gamer exclusive or every magazine will have it.

I know it was great. This story is a 1000 times better then TA. The only good part of TA's story was that the narrator was or just sounded like james earl jones

Keep in mind what they showed you are different from how the game actually played. The game plays far view instead of close up shown in those footages.

Some people will like the game some don’t like me. The game stresses more on economics and built orders then unit strategy like Company of Heroes. If you like Company of Heroes unit/squad type strategy with heavy mico management and less on economics then you won’t enjoy this game. It is the opposite of Company of Heroes.

Its totally awsome... You can uh... Play it without having a beta key... try googling for SupCom hacks maybe?
edit: I am not endorsing hacks, but if you want to play there is one that allows a skirmish mode, just never update....

You can also use a LAN-hack for multiplayer games over Hamachi.
