I don't think that's how it works munchkin5.  I think the content creating system takes a bunch of random creatures, generates random planets with random planet types, and gives the creatures a random amount of power.  The rest isn't random, and has to do with how the player acted.

I think the terraforming will be the most awesome part of Spore, not only as a weapon but as an aesthetic thing...

I mean terraform my name into it literally, like burn it into the icecaps with my laser

The planets are randomly generated.  The planets you see in the game have random landscapes, and no planet that you interact with in your game will find itself in another's!

The only things that get "content shared" are the other player's creations from the editor.  The civs and planets aren't shared, making every player's universe a new one.  Besides, think of all the swear words that people will carve into planets.  Its hard enough to find a creature filtering system...

Civs are shared, Will said so himself. I know SOMEONE on this thread knows where. And there is no reason that they cant use the same basic idea fo the creature filtration (assuming there is one) for the planets.

In the dice presentation, he said something about particles "spreading" over planets, randomizing their terrain.  And what I meant by civs was the size of the creature's civilization.  Their creatures, buildings, and culture still get shared...

OMFG NEED AIR, TOO MUCH LAUGHING...Penis Planet and Uranus :D :D :D *laughs last bit of air out of lungs and keels over dead*

Actually planets form as spheres when they're large molten chunks  In space, you could theoretically make a planet of any shape, granted that you change the terrain without making It molten, although after a couple of million years It would probably have slowly reverted Into the Sphere shape again.

Penis planet and Uranus XD XD XD I seriously hope uranus and that planet aren't made, and If they do and there happens to be a massive fissure In the ground then I'll destroy Uranus (yes I'm aware of the fact that Uranus Is a gas giant, It does have a solid core though (from what we know)...yup)

OKAY, YOU WIN!  Back on topic Plz!

Actually, seeing other player's logos could be interesting.  It would be awesome to sign as may worlds as possible, then create a t-shirt with your logo on it...

I heard someone say that they were going to write "Boo!" on a planet and throw it at a species, and that is one of the funniest things I have ever read.

Me too, I would like to see other people's planets and such. But in the other hand I would really like to explore unique planets and civilizations.
