Are you two going to wrap up that conversation?

I suppose Oswyn could get distracted and wander off...

I was waiting for Sam to add something since he's only posted twice.

Once there is a 'gap' Wylaydn will go and see this Lord fellow.

Lord von Norderburg?

Well you're going to be making his personality if you encounter him first, so what do you imagine he'll be? Superstitious seems like a good quality.

I've been wondering about that.

Yossitaru are there any characters you don't want us to introduce?

Also, Brandonazz, I love your character.  He sort of reminds me of a wizard I played years ago.  Mine refered to himself in the third person like Ross Perot.

Sorry I'm taking so long finishing my character.  I can see his whole backstory in my mind, but keeping it short and informative while at the same time overcoming a seven year case of writers block is proving challenging.

Well, I'll introduce him and he'll be old, superstitious and somewhat terrified.

Perhaps he'll hire Wylaydn who will assemble a group with the other players? He'll consider himself leader simply because he is of noble birth.

Sounds good. Party needs a leader.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Good deal.

What do we need now then? Some kind of event to draw us all together?

Oswyn could lead everyone to him.

We just need a way for someone to want to be led to the Lord.

Wylaydn could ask around somewhere.

When you go to the king, I'll assume his role, his position could ruin all my plans if you go ahead and do things with him out of my control.

I have an idea to accomplish that too, and it is connected to meeting with the lord.

The King and the Lord are distinct people, right?

I thought people were using Lord and King as interchangable titles. Well, if they are distinct, I'll have to assume both of their roles to accomplish my needs then.

No, a King is the ruler of a Kingdom, whereas a Lord would be a vassal to a King under the fuedal system. Although you could address a King as 'My Lord.'

Off the top of my head;

Emperor
King
Duke
Baron
Lord
Earl

....is the order of precedence. Bishops also inhabiting an area on the scale.
