Also, Little, your character seems a little too clever for a hired assasin who up until this point knew nothing about magic and fear-induced illusions. Not to mention he was insane a day ago, no-one can just snap out of being insane like that, and frankly its annoying.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

What happened to taking Ripper alive?  Josh, as an assassin good enough to be hired to go to another continent, should be very good at following orders to the letter.  And Lucius has been scolding Josh for wanting to kill the Ripper.  What gives?

Well, Lucius is shooting it because he's panicking... I don't know about Josh.

If you want me to change my post then I will.

No, panicking works.  That was more directed at Little, your post just reminded me to mention it.

Josh, to be blunt, is panicing. And, just to be hired to go to another contineint dosen't mean he has to follow orders to the letter. Most assassain jobs are: 'Kill XXXXXX. He will be at XXXXXXXX at noon. Kill him from a distance, and do not be caught.'

His way to solve things that make him panic is to calm down and kill it.

It's his job.

Why did the bullet slow down and stop? ???

I was not aware that Ripper could do that.

You said the bullets slowed down, who were you firing at?

I assumed you were firing at Ripper since in your previous post you mentioned that your character understood that the monster was an illusion.

But all of that is beyond the point, what I want to know is why your bullets slowed down and fell to the ground.

Ok, here it is: Josh is being hunted for money.

His bullet slowed down due to someone with the power to do so did.

He owes a organization a lot of money, and some of their employees can use magic.

Now, if you read my new post, you'll see Josh get shot twice.

The organization wants Josh dead, and they want Alex's trinket.

We have to deal with the Ripper and these bounty hunters?

This kind of makes this current fight insanely impossible...

Can your character use magic to teleport the men outside the area? The characters don't seem to be very ready for this fight just yet.
