Wonderful.
Can we merge all the April Fool's related topics together again now?
Yep, I'm trashing the spammy ones right now and merging the others.

You guys were doubtful.  ;) You knew it but you weren't sure. We planned this out, with Pat's help of course. However I think the IRC incident was improvised on the spot with some private set ups between Danzik and Pat. Sorry if it really upset anyone but we wanted it to seem real. If it was real, this thread never would have been made and we wouldn't be talking about it at all, much less posting screen shots.

I hope when you remember back, you'll remember our joke with good humor.   :)

I'm really surprised anyone actually fell for it in the first place.

I hope you've learned to never trust the moderators ever again.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

So was I. Kudos for actually getting some of them to believe it, though.

Hey!

Yeah... I was approached by one of the mods a month or so ago about this and we've been building this crackpot plan ever since. By the way, while you guys got to have fun on the forum I got to see this:

April Fools guys, you're all awesome. :)

Ah, so they did temp-ban you. I simply assumed that the "This member is banned" screenshot was a photoshop job.

Nah, we went for realism I guess.\

Ask the folks who got to see the show in IRC. :P

But yeah, thanks for playing along guys. If any of you were uncomfortable about the whole thing I apologize, no harm was meant by any of this. Just our April Fools joke which we won't be able to top I think, so expect a name change next year or something. :D

We should all shift our names down the top posters list and change our avatars. That would get confusing fast.

Of course, I've just ruined the joke.

or all be the same person..

I wasn't going to actually ban him until Plank noticed his name on the member list so I had to go for realism. His name only was banned for a day, enough to make him get the message and not show up in the list. So the photos I posted were indeed actual photos, not photo shopped at all.

There was slight thing overlooked, to have made this 100% effective, Pat should have contacted people privately about moving the Superpower RP, that would have spread mass panic starting from the story telling board.
