Man, after seeing someone post about this game (snes) i had to pull out the old snes and start playing! I really forgot how great this game was!Definately one to play until Spore comes out, its like a really really stripped down version of spore, but only going from fish to human stages!

What can i say, an awesome game!

I actually think it was a weak level-grinding platformer with nice graphics.

Hide behind the rock on the right side of the room so when the shark charges it bangs uts nose and becomes stunned then go out take a bit and go back to your hiding spot eat the plants to replenish health if the shark takes a bite out of u while retreating. Then just lather rinse repete.

This game was way too repetitive...couldn't stop playing though.  Had to upgrade my beast 100%!  Know what I mean?  Got it up to a human too.

that game was amazing, hated how they always reset your points once you beat a stage tho.

was it true that you could somehow get a mermaid in EVO too?

Yeah some where along the line you go underwater in the mammel stage and you do some evolutions and beomce like a seal then dolphin and so on until mermaid but you return to previous mammel form once u beat the level boss.

E.V.O was a really weird, but entertaining game.  The alternate endings were really weird, and you could evolve into strange things.  But it was still fun.  I even have the cartridge.

I started playing it too and I am also having trouble on the Queen Bee.

I jump and bite and I got one hit on her but man... that is going to take forever.

Okay... I went back and did some evolving and tried the Queen Bee again  and beat her. The battle is the same as the King Bee. And just as annoying!
