Of all the games I have read about at E3, this one looks to be THE one I can't wait to play. I cannot even begin to estimate how many hours I lost to Total Annihilation, so I'm sure this will cause a few sick days to be called in (not really, I've never missed a day in my adult working life. Hope to keep the streak alive...).

I'm cautiously optimistic. The last few games I let myself get tied up in knots about turned out to be disappointments. I've learned that its all too easy for a game to look mind blowing but in truth just suck.

Based on what I have seen so far, they would have to TRY and screw this up for it not to be a blast. My only concern is how powerful a PC will be able to run it with an acceptable frame rate. I'll be okay, but some of my friends have lower end machines and are interested so I guess time will tell.

Kingdoms wasn't a terrible game, it just missed the mark on several key areas. Some being storyline, AI (what RTS game doesn't have terrible AI?), etc. It was an admirable effort though.
