Here's the situation: I've been offered another empire's homeworld, with pink spice.
It's a T3, with 4 cities in it.

My doubt is this: Will eventually the number of cities rise? In that case, should I wait for it, so I can buy a more profitable system/planet?
                            Or the number of cities of a given homeworld will be always the same?

City number wouldn't rise, it's set.

If you value your relationship with them, simply buy it and decolonize it. Yep, decolonize it.

Place a monolith near the species you want to evolve into sapience. Once they're in space, buy out their homeworld to get the full number of cities.

Dunno if this counts as a gripe, but darn, man, I was from a parking lot near the intersection, and when I went out I drove to the leftmost lane so I could enter the main road.

Or at least that's what I thought I was doing.

What actually happened is that I entered the wrong lane, just one short of the leftmost, and when the green light on the leftmost lane went on my brain turned off and I began driving to the left. Luckily, there was only one car to my left, which my vision centers registered but the rest of my brain apparently failed to realize. Thus, as I was halfway across the pedestrian crossing, the lights flashed, signalling my judgement.

Now there is but only a fearful expectation of a $400 ticket, of skyrocketing premiums, and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of my folks.

All I can say is...






Really. For a while, I thought it was just gonna be like every other [insert] Movie ^TM, but man did that expectation get blown to a trillion tiny bits and carried away by the wind.

The IP characters aren't used excessively and I got the feeling that they actually added immersion as well as gave legitimacy to the idea that this was a world populated by toys, that the IP characters are just as much toys as Unikitty, or Benny, or Vitruvius. Lucy even mentioned stuff like Bionicle ^TM!

And after that part where it's revealed that the Lego Universe was just a giant set in the basement and the story was about a kid [Emmet] having issues with his dad [Lord Business] and then the dad sees all the wonderful things his son made and he has an "Oh crap! What have I done?!" moment and then they reconcile, and Lord Business himself accept Emmet's friendship and uses the Piece of Resistance to personally seal the Kragle...





Dang, I'm already tearing up while typing that. 

The part where the cast was sitting in the doubledecker couch and then the little sister's Duplo blocks declare their campaign of destruction was the stuff of nightmares, though.  >_>

Though, yeah, I really do feel as if I've never really been raised by my parents to be ready for life. Like when I was a kid and I was supposed to develop my autonomy, my parents stunted me by never letting me help them out. This only got worse as time went on.

And now, whenever I screw up [read: every day], I get blamed for it because I "didn't listen". Well, thanks a lot! Would it have killed you to be more of a parent to your children instead of pampering them?

I swear, if I ever have to raise a kid, I'd constantly throw him to the lions because I DON'T WANT HIM ENDING UP PROBABLY FIRED, HOMELESS, ALONE LIKE ME.

I wish I was raised by other, more responsible and farsighted people. As it stands, I am mere waste, barely tolerated by society, kept alive by a well that would soon dry up, given the illusion of choice when the brain is hopelessly conditioned to follow only failure.
