i like the idea of throwing creatures into orbit around your planet i wonder what other fun mistakes will and his team have made

just imagin how big the sproe manual will be in one language and then imagin how big it would be if it held several languages
im guessen they will just have a pdf on the disk

Spore: General / spore HUD (heads up display)

lets talk about teh hud seen as this is a fairly receant pic and im preaty sure its safe to say it wont change much if it changes at all
you'll have to full screen the ic to get a good look at the hud:
mi interpretations of the hud:
- the very top left icon i the options
-the very botom left icon is the pause gameplay button
- the next icon is your brain meter (how many parts of the brin you've unlocked) so far in this pic he has unlocked 2 levels (u can get a better look at the at the brain meter in the battle fish editor pic which is the 3rd pic down to the very riht of the 1st set of pics.) also you will notice a quater ring around the brain meter im preatty dure this is like an exp meter but instead of leveling up it to the next brain level unlock.
- the next meter is the DNA meter which as far as i no to get DNA points you will have to eat others eggs but the is probably more which we havent been showen yet.
- the next seems to be a love meter of some kind im guessing wen u call out and get a reply from another creature ready to love it fills up depending on how close she is. but thats only a guess so and sguggestions would b great
- obviously the next is hunger and then life
- i dunno if the lighting bolt at teh end is a metter for a special move of sumfin or just an icon like to let you no ur in the mood menu or wateva.
any other suggestions would be great

Spore: General / lets talk abou the water phase shall we

s lets talk here, I'm a little confused about the underwater stage, people have been saying it is there and others said it wasn't and some are still looking for hope.
now to me it seems pretty clear to me that its in there, i mean:
1.it was in there original game
2.it would just be stupid to remove a big chuck of the game all of a sudden
3.its in the cool little start up clip on spore.com

Spore: General / idea for spore

ok so i was reading a book about the brain and **** and i got this idea for spore so bare with me will explain it.
wen we use to live in tribes and were nomads and such we were real promiscuous because after every time we went into battle with other tribes we would return with succeeding low amounts of men because they were lost in battle so we the men returned tot he tribe they would mate with every women they could to boost the tribal population. giving birth to a male was seen as a glory and a prize for it would provide the tribe with warriors and giving birth to females was a disappointment because the tribe would already be over populated with females because they were not killed off in battle.
i think it would be great if this concept was Incorporated into the tribal phase of spore

does any one agree with me when i say that most new computer games will begin to use procedural methods and editors like spore because when one great game is released then usually the rest follow its path. right

there should be a multiplayer arena were people can enter the creature to verse others in a seris of tornaments to win editor point or build point or wateva stage of game ur at cuz then u culd see the variety of creatures created and get to have a new sorce of income for your game

now i know most of you no that there was a release date for spore posted on ea austrlia (15th january 2007) but did any one else find it weird that it was only on the australian web site i would of thought that it would be on an american website first unless there going for a global release which wouldn't suprise me seeing as it caused such and uprising.

hey all umm receantly i discovered a spore mini game and im sure your all aware of it so i'll be quike teh game is called spore ver1.05 i was wondering weather or not its been u pdated and what the link is to it and how i can find out when it is updated thank you
