So Eve meets Spore.

One exists because of a long term design and a dedicated player based spread out over a ten year period... the other was hyped up to the point it was never what it was hoped to be. They are already past the hype that was Spore.

Person21 - As enjoyed by Veraal.
A wise Surface to Air Missile once said about marrying 9 year olds in Saudi Arabia "Its pretty hard to tell if a 9 year old is going to be hot when she grows up, kids change a lot, usually, seems like a bad system. That cute little nine year old you married could end being a fat, zitty teenager."

So, has this project gone through the ol' crash and burn yet? I haven't been paying attention.

Were you following it before this thread was made?  Because I don't think a few days is enough time for even an actual project to crash and burn.
Probably not a Goat, either.

It's been stagnant since earlier this year, when I first found it.

The dev posted on Reddit a few days ago that he's almost done with the prototype for the space section of the game, and he's working on a new overview video for his upcoming Kickstarter that will go into greater detail on how he plans to handle game mechanics.

I'm going to say this is a wait and see since the original video didn't really say much other than, "I plan to let you do anything, and procedural generation will make it easy!"
