I think I've realized why people start feeling old at around 21... because all the birthday's after that don't mean anything significant (as opposed to turning 10, 13, 16, 18 or 21, for example). I think I'm going to go cry in a corner now. :D

I post regularly on IGN as The_Old_Man. http://users.ign.com/about/The_Old_Man?boards=ign. They've been updating the servers lately and there is a lot of downtime so I'm looking for somewhere else to spend my time. :)

THere was an error in my poll, so I had 2 1955 - 1965 categories, someone voted in the second one, so instead of restarting the whole poll, I simply shanged that ones name to "add to above" and made the one it was supposed to be below it.

Whereas we can drink legally ;) at 18. Of course, every british kid loves going on schooltrips to the continent (that's Europe for you non-brits) and taking advantage of the lower drinking age. I think in France it's 16. I've also heard that in Holland, sex is legal at 12 :-\

Yes, seems there are alot of 14/15 yr olds. Every time I check a profile lately, it says 14.

Possibly it's a mix of the target demographic for Spore and the youngsters being more likely to be impatient for the game.

nah i think it has something to do with your ears. they hear your voice realy close and from inside your mouth. that, i think, makes it sound heavy in real life. :-X

I started drinking in Grade 10, Grade 12 about too graduate. Some of my friends still drink and theres a few out there that are heavy drinkers but for the most part I just casually drink. Most of the time at parties theres always a fight or some stupid thing happening that ends with someone getting hurt because people are drinking and it ruins the good time..so people figure it out quick.

Ehh.... That is not Generation X. Though there is no definitive date on what is a Generation Xer or not most place the X generation as the generation born in the middle of the 60's to as late as the 1981. That also makes me one of the last Generation Xers.

First of all, who gives a crap about how old you are? And why should anyone have any reason to doubt you when you say you are 14 years old? In my experience, 14-year-olds are some of the most retarded people on the planet, the kind of people you really don't want to impersonate. Thus it would make no sense whatsoever to lie that you're 14, when you could've lied that you're 400 or 30000 years old or something cool like that.

This leads me to the conclusion that you must actually be lying. You must think it's somehow really funny to get us fooled into thinking that you're 14 when you're actually 13 or something. Or perhaps that really isn't your ID up there, and you think it's hilarious how we would think that you, of all people, would be stupid enough to post their own ID on the internet.

Either way, it's incredibly lame and most likely boils down to attention whoring.

Well, I just added a couple apps to Chrome, now whenever I have to use RapidShare or MegaUpload the download will auto-start once the timer hits zero. Not to mention the fact that I can view my wall, updates and notifications on facebook right from a button on the side of my address bar. It doesn't even open up a tab.

And yeah, still 17.

Hell, here in Wichita it was a god damed bloodbath to pass a School Bond legislation that would grant USD259 roughly half a billion dollars for upgrades and renovations and new schools that are desperately needed due to overcrowding. Seems some people we're unconcerened for their childs futures. "Why does Wichita East need a pool? I mean they only have to wake up at 5 am for practice at a different facility, and then go to school. Let me just overlook the whole, building storm/Tornado (Yeah, Wichita Kansas, lack luster Tornado shelters in nearly all schools, Elementay and up) shelters, upgrading facilities past bare minimum standards, and building new facilities to reduce crowds and focus on what the kids might actually want and enjoy."

Since when? E can be a variable, E can refer to Error on a calc, but E has never been a substitute for scientific notation. It's about as common as that phonetic crap you use, and by that I mean it's not common at all.

Summer being the time of relaxation and reflection that it is (rather unfortunately for me actually- I had hoped to have a Summer job by now) has led me to realize that I'm, like, totally sixteen now man.

I'm more than halfway through my teens! I hadn't realized it before now, somehow. That's ridiculous. After the next school year, I'll be through with highschool, and that is terrifying. I'm a firm believer that chronological age is a useless number, but I feel my age recently, a teen scared of the world before him.

Before I turn into a younger GD here* I'm just going to say that being a teen, growing up in this specific time- where the technology has started to catch up with our ideas of what future technology should be- is an hell of an experience.

I've been 25 for a week now, and the only two things that are different for me are 'teen' and 'highschool'.

Rys ignore Raz he's the bad kind of teenager.

Work is good, it gets you money and self esteem and a reason to drag your ass out of bed every day.

JOBS can be crappy. But on the other hand they can be pretty decent. But work is sort of non-optional. Even if your 'work' is unpaid volunteer work or working on your own projects. Got to keep yourself busy with something besides vidyagaems.

Post by: PikMini on May 20, 2019, 08:21:59 pm: gonna be 27 this year... i think i joined here when i was 14 during the spore hype train. in 2010 i enlisted in the military as an integrated avionics specialist for bombers. it was a depressing job so i got honorably discharged after 3 years. in 2015 i went to japan for 3 months and lived there homeless for fun. this past year i moved in with my sister and im babysitting her kids. hopefully i can live here forever lol because my gap in working is outrageous. i forgot about my account here but i think i'll become active again
