I never know wether to be ashamed I like Flight Simulator X. I like flying, and enjoy it, but when I join a multiplayer I can never get serious enough to talk to request permission to take off or what vector to take or anything like that, I'd rather just fly around.

In the meantime my real time flight form Midway to Tokyo is taking so long.. just let me get there. I can't imagine flying before autopilot.   :P

Woo! Another aviation fan!

Yeah, I love the Flight Simulator series. I'm looking to pick up Flight Simulator X soon! How has it been? I played the demo and it was great.

I'm not scared to fly small planes, I just don't like them. And while they are more challenging (where is the heading lock?!) It's just prefer the feel of jets (and the distance they can travel).. That said I'm absolutely no good with a 747. I'm tempted to download an A380 if for nothing else a laugh at my lack of skill.

I just checked, my building is apparently a parking lot in FSX  :-\

I own Flight Simulator 9, but I am hesitant to get FSX, because when I got the demo, nothing but a black screen appeared when I tried to load the world.

Beside from that, I do want Flight Simulator X.
The TV commercial was great.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

Hey ADP, what are the specs of your computer? Because while I meet the minimum for the game, I don't know if I can handle the possible bad frame rates, because PC Powerplay said that even on beast computers you should expect pretty bad frame rates at times.

Got it yesterday for my b-day. man this is game is good. Im going through the missions, and I would start the lessons but im getting some really bad white noise occasionally in some games, which means I can't hear Rod talking, not to mention radio chatter and some aircraft noises. Im gonna ring my computer bloke tommorrow and see what's what.

My only gripe with the game is that apon starting it, John and Martha weren't there to greet me, and that ridiculous and totally unnessercary activation.

Hey, does anyone know how to stop your Goose nosing-over on takeoff?

Hey, does anyone know how to stop your Goose nosing-over on takeoff?

Let the plane take off by itself. Extend your flaps so it gets more lift, then let it run until it seems like it wants to get off the ground all by itself. If the problem is that it keeps wanting to nose down throughout the whole flight, adjust your trim tab.

too late! already figured it out. when the tail wheel lifts of the ground the engines move forward and the 'plane becomes front heavy.

Anywho, Im gonna get good flying the lessons (once the sound problem is fixed) and fly around the world in a goose.
