I suggest using Challonge. I used to use it a lot when I was working for Shadow Era.

I don't think I'm going to be in this. I still haven't been able to track down a game.

Seconding Challonge. We used to use it for university starcraft tournaments. It's pretty great.

Question about deckbuilding rules:

So FFG just released a new rule thing for tournaments ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2015/12/31/napd-security-upgrades/ ) where certain cards will decrease the influence limit of the identity by 1 for each copy of the card in the deck. Decks that obey that rule are legal for tournament play. The affected cards from the core set are
Desperado (Core Set, #024)
Parasite (Core Set, #012)
Yog.0 (Core Set, #014)
AstroScript Pilot Program (Core Set, #081)
SanSan City Grid (Core Set, #092)

See page 7 of this document

So, for our little tournament thing, will we be following that or should I not worry about it for now?

Uh, lets just not worry about it for now.

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Yeah on second thought it doesn't matter. The changes were probably in response to power creep from new sets.

Welp, here it is.
We start out with 2 rounds of round robbin
Which means everyone gets to play against someone.
Each match is best out of 3, and for each of those won you get a point.
(So for example if you win 2 and your opponent wins 1, you get 2 points and he gets 1.)
Then at the end of those 2 rounds, the top 4 players get to the winners bracket, and the 2 lowest get to the losers bracket.
If there are any ties, we'll do more matches to break them.
After that we do the brackets, which I hope are self explanatory.

As for decks, you are allowed 1 deck for corp, and 1 deck for runner. So you will only have 2 decks for the entire tournament, and are not allowed to change them.
It'll be hard to actually check for that, so lets just try to trust eachother on that.
Also, only core cards are allowed, no expansions whatsoever. If we do later tournaments we'll mix it up a bit, but for now it's core only.

So from this point on, you can just contact your opponent on steam or whatever, then match up on jinteki or tabletop, and post the results here.
Once everyone finishes round 1 of round robin, we'll move on to the next round, and so on.

What is considered core? like the first cards released only?
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Also, some tips on deck building.

You should probably use http://www.acoo.net/
It's very useful and keeps track of all the cards and tournament rules so you can be sure your deck is legit.
I don't think anyone needs help with actually building a deck, but if you do have questions don't be afraid to ask here or on steam.

Converting your deck onto jinteki is kind of a pain, but if you have a list next to you it's pretty easy.
Converting your deck into tabletop is even worse, but there is a workshop mod called "Android: Netrunner deck building" that could help speed things up.
Also, tabletop works kind of stupid in that if you want to use both you and your opponents deck, you will both have to host a server, spawn your decks, let the other person save your decks to his chest, and then do the same vice versa.

Just as a general heads up, I have my decks done. They are saved in my chest in Tabletop Simulator.

One runner deck of 55 cards.
One corp deck of 57 cards.

I actually made the decks with the real cards before finding them all in-game, so everything should be up to spec.
