This game takes like 5-15 minutes to download and install, and it's really good.

Spore: General / Re: Release date of demo?
« on: June 25, 2005, 10:19:31 pm »
Demo of the editor...well that's practically the main reason everybody wants this game so bad.  Plus it would spoil the game.  The concept of the editor is to save points to buy cool parts, it's dependant of the game.

Spore: General / Re: Procedural Sounds?
« on: June 25, 2005, 09:28:02 am »
Procedural sound would be horrible.  Like Steve said (I think he said this) people will be complaining that their creatures don't wask the way their supposed to; so what's stopping them from hating Spore because their monster doesn't sound like it's supposed too?  Imagine you create a deadly ninja dragon and it meows like a cat.  It would upset people.  It would be better to have a 2 sets of sounds...For allies and for enemies.  This could also help distinguish between allies.  For example, once you break the language barrier, you will begin to "understand" your allies.

Movies / Re: Movies about time travel
« on: June 25, 2005, 09:23:44 am »
Think about the Terminator 1.  OK the plot is interesting, but think about it.  The robot is sent back in time first.  Then the human.  But time travel doesn't work real time.  As soon as you send something back in time everything in the current world becomes altered by the affects of that time travel immediately (theoretically).  If that movie followed the rules of time travel (also known as logic) the robot would have killed O'Conner and rendered the whole franchise useless.

As for Harry Potter, how can you save yourself if your dead?  If a dementor rapes you, you're dead.  So how did Harry Patter manage to escape and then go back in time to save himself from being raped?

Again, time travel was done poorly by these stories to compensate for the story, and to look "smart".

I hate movies that try to be smart by adding a time paradox like Harry Potter and the Terminator, but when you think about it you notice it's impossible.

I've never seen this style done in a movie.  Looks interesting.

This game was way too repetitive...couldn't stop playing though.  Had to upgrade my beast 100%!  Know what I mean?  Got it up to a human too.

What are you talking about?  The PS3 and XB360 look the same.  One is concave and the other is convex shaped though.

Of course the FFVII soundtrack is awesome, but my second favorite music would have to be the Opening theme to MGS3:Snakeater.  Classic.

Eh, I wouldn't mind so long as it rocks as much as the original.

The Ringling Bros. Circus (I'm not quite sure which circus) a long time ago staged a lawsuit against their bearded-lady claming it was just a man in a dress to gain publicity.  And it worked!  Oh these silly marketing strategies...
