Sim Caveman - Archives

Episode 1



Here is the prehistoric land of the Sims. We are at the end of the ice age and humans are spreading all over the Sim Earth. One such sim named Flint Stone decided to leave his village this summer and use this clearing for his own new village.



Flint love to explore and an opportunistic person. He works hard and is innovative. He is the perfect person to establish this village. He has simple fire making tools, a loin cloth, copper handaxe and an obsidian knife. He also has some dried meat and seeds from his original home.



As you can see this place is surround by woods, has a small stream, open grass space, waterfall and hotsprings.



What should we have him do? (See poll)

Also if you have another idea plz state and i might just ad it to the poll.

Well "Making a Firepit" won, so thats what he shall do.

Episode 2



Flint arrived in the clearing and looked around for the place. He thinks this is perfect and decide he should start a campfire.



Flint looks for some stick and leaves to fuel his fire once he make it. He finds some in the brush nearby.



He decides to keep it way from the forest in case his fire spreads. He sets down the leaves and sticks and uses his flint rocks to make a spark. It takes a little bit but he finally makes fire!



Now Flint can stay nice and warm as well as some where to heat things. He is very proud of himself. But a village cannot just be a firepit. What else should he make? (see poll)

Episode 3



Flint decides he should start on the crops since they take the longest to grow. He plants 3 rows of 5 and uses up all his tomato seeds.



Little sprouts pop up quickly but they still have a long time before they bear any fruit.



After all this work Flint had to go pee, so he went and found a rock to pee on.

What should Flint do after his potty break? (see poll)

Episode 4



Flint clears some brush and finds a tree near by that he thinks would be good to chop with his copper handaxe.



After chopping for awhile he manages to creature 4 piles of wood plus a stump. He takes  a little rest before bringing it back near the fire.



He bring them all back and uses one to chop wood on, thus leaving 3 piles left.

Its still daylight, so what should Flint do next? (see Poll)

Ok the Build the Tripod won, but it was so quick i thought i should do some other stuf as well. So Flint did some other bonus things too this episode. :D

Episode 4


Flint used one pile of wood he chopped to make the cooking tripod. He built it quickly and it looked nice. He was happy... and hungry! Dried meat is good but fresh food is better.


Flint wants to go fishing but he needs some bait. So he goes digging for worms. He find a few and take them for his bait.


He carefully puts the worm on the hook. he has not done this before and this his his father gift to him when he left the village.


Poof Flint. He is trying a bit too hard. This is not rock throwing! He casts so hard he falls to the ground.


Flint is persistent and hungry so he tries again. And look he caught a fish!!  ;D


He holds it up and sees it is a Blue Catfish. Yum yum. Better take it back to eat.


Flint sits with his catch and his new cooking tripod. He had to light the fire again since it went out. Now he realizes he has never cooked before. His mother have always cooked for him....

The Cooking the fish won so thats what he did. Plus some extra stuff since that was too quick.

Episode 5



Flint carefully cooks his catfish and makes it without burning down his tripod. He is happy now with his tummy full.



He is a bit dirty from the chopping, fishing, cooking and all that so he decides he should take a shower in the waterfall.



Noticing he doesn't have enough wood for the fence around the garden Flint goes to chop some more wood. This tree looks fine.



After chopping he sits down to rest for a second.



Then he takes the wood over to the chopping stump so he can make a fence out of it.



He takes the wood and pounds it into the ground with a nearby rock. He eventually finished the fence and he is very proud. Too bad no one else is there with him. He is getting a bit lonely now. Also his plants seem to need some water too. But what can he make to carry the water over here?

Episode 6



Ruby Rock got lost in the forest from her village. She is from a different Tribe from Flints.



She found a cave and goes over to rest.



She peaks in and sees something moving inside. Then starts growling!



Oh no! Run Ruby! Before it gets you. Up ahead, it looks like there is a campfire. Perhaps someone can save you!

Episode 7



Ruby came running into Flints camp screaming.



He asked what was wrong and she frantically told about a monster in the cave that was going to get her. They talked fore a while after that of what to do. And Flint decided to make a torch so he could go there and see in the dark cave. Also it was getting outside too.



He asked her to stay by the fire and she would be safe. He would be right back and assured her that he would torch whatever monster was there. Cause everyone knows that monsters hate fire.

If they had went in the hot spring that would be a choice. its not liek there is a bed around for woo hoo.

Episode 8



Flint carries his torch to the cave. Once he reaches it it can hear somthing growling at him. Ruby was right!



Flint torches the cave and hears the bear getting burned as is cornered in the cave. He did it!



But whats this? A cub! Oh no! Flint rushes in and grabs the cub before it dies like its mother. What has Flint done!!


Lucky the bear is ok and he feeds it some of his dried meat. He feels sorry for what he did and takes upon the responsibility to take care of this orphaned bear cub. He names him Boo, because of how much it scared them. Luring it back to camp with food he gains a new pet. But what will Ruby think of this?

Episode 9



Flint and Boo arrive back at the camp. Ruby is surprised at 1st but Boo is so cute that she loves him. Ruby and Boo get along great together.



Flint doesn't want him getting in his all his stuff so he decides to chop some more wood and build Boo a pen. Meanwhile Ruby plays with Boo and teaches him to "come" and "stay". She apparently is great with animals.



While they play Flint builds the fence around them. He saves on wood by using the fence connected to the garden. its a full moon so there is plenty of light to work in.



Ruby needs to pee badly so she squats next to a rock by the hot springs.



Flint sees his chance and gets in. He invites her into the hot tub and they talk for awhile. Apparently they have little in common and argue a lot. So much for romance. Perhaps over time they will grow to like each other.



Meanwhile Boo is bored in the pen and plays around with the gate. he manages to open it up. He is a smart bear.



Boo passes them by as they argue in the hot springs and goes to the waterfall for a drink of water.

Everyone including Boo is very Hungry now. If they do not get some food soon they might die.

Episode 10



Flint went to fish while Runy put Boo back in his pen.



Boo was tired and went to sleep. Such a cute little guy.



While Flint fished and Boo slept Ruby tended the crops. They had lots of weeds, but there is still nothing to hold water so she could water them. They are not doing so well because of this. Hopefully it will rain soon.



Flint caught a Jumbo Large Mouth Bass. This ment it was enough for all 3 of them! His cooking is getting better.



The sun rose and they at their food by the stump. Flint sat while Ruby stood. After they ate they gave the rest to Boo to eat.



Meanwhile Flint went and took another shower.

They are getting a bit tired now and they have no place to sleep.

Episode 11



Flint goes and chops some bamboo and builds 2 new fences for the crops and the bear pen. Now Boo will not get out.



While Ruby goes to the bathroom Flint digs for clay for pottery.



Meanwhile Boo tries to dig out of his pen.



Ruby looks a little tied as she joins Flint. Flint finishes a clay pot and is about to set it out to dry ...



But Ruby falls down exhausted and it starts raining! Thus keeping the pot from drying. On the bright side the crops are now getting water.

They need a shelter badly since they are now out wet in the rain.

Episode 12



Flint digs a hole taking out rocks and walking them over to where he wants to build the hut foundation.



Sadly he is already tired and it makes him exhausted. But at least it stopped raining.



Every seems to be asleep for this time tired, uncomfortable and getting hungry again.



Boo sleeps restlessly wanting to chew anything.



Flint gets back up not very rested but he finishes the foundation while they rest.



After a few more hours Flint chops down 3 trees and gets more wood for the hut walls. He refuses to work because he is sooo hungry. In fact everyone seems to be. Ruby is even though she is still asleep.



Boo is doing the worse peeing in his pen, he is very dirty, very hungry and wants to chew everything.



Also the crops are over growing with weeds from the rain.

What should they do next?

Episode 13



Flint tried to fish but he keeps messing up. He also keeps dozing off so out of desperation both of them eat the worms he was using for bait, then they passed out.



Meanwhile Boo has not been fed and he busts down a fence and gorges himself on the tomato plants eating the unripe tomatoes as well as the plants themselves. Bears are indeed resourceful omnivores.



Once awake they are stiff from sleeping on the ground and sit in the hot springs to sooth their muscles aches.



Now feeling better Ruby finds Boo's mess and scolds him for breaking the fence and eating their crops.



Meanwhile Flint goes to catch a fish so they can fill their bellies. Sadly all he caught was another Blue Catfish.



Flint cooks it up at the fire. This feeds Ruby and Flint for a little bit but a fish each would have been better.



With their bellies half filled they pass out from being over tired. They need a decent bed and some more food badly. Cause they are very cranky.

Totem Pole won so that what they did.

Episode 14



After sleeping on the ground yet again in the rain they get up and and go to the hot springs to clean off and feel comfortable again. While inside they talk about building a totem pole to appease the nature spirits.



Flint carves a tree, cuts it off its stump and places it over by the hut. Ruby has some earth based paints with her and she paints the totem pole. They both like it a lot.



In a better mood from this he builds the hut walls with the rest of the wood.



Then he builds a door and cuts holes for the windows. It is becoming a nice little hut. Just needs a roof and its done.



Having one wood left he patches up the fence Boo broke.



Flint notices that his crops are all dead now. :(



They are all tired again and goes to sleep inside the hut even though thy don't have a roof. It is better than the ground since they are up above it on the foundation.



While they dream the nature spirit comes in the shape of a wolf. He tells them in their dreams to give offerings of fish to the totem and the curse will broken. Killing the bear cursed them both. He also says he must raise Boo until he is an adult, then set him free. If he doesn't then he will have much more bad luck.
