BiologyThis is a rough sketch of a Vykusi I made a while back.

It's from aquatic origins and can use the back arms to good effect while swimming.
The two stalk eyes are actually used to determine if an object is hot or cold. It does because by seeing the amount of infrared coming off an object, though it can't use them to see what an object
is, only the heat. The front eyes are actually spots made to confuse predators. The real eyes are the two large yellow eyes on its sides. They are positioned to allow a near 360 degree view of its surroundings.
The dots behind the whiskers are ear holes.
Digestive
1.Mouth, works in conjunction with the tongue.
2.Tongue, brings food into the mouth the same way that a cat drinks water.
3.Stomach, not very different from a humans.
4.Pancreas, for insulin.
5.Liver, performs the same thousand plus functions a human liver does.
6.Gall bladder, for holding excess gall.
7.Nutrient absorption tube, villi at work.
8.Renal organ, prevents the build up of toxins in the blood. (Kidney equivalent, except it all comes out the same place.)
9.Water reclamation organ, absorbs water.
10.Anus, solid, liquid and gaseous waste come out here.
Cardio-Respiratory
(the arteries aren't really that thick, it's just a representation)
Skelton

The front two arms have two joints each, while the back two arms have only one joint each. They can be bet to about perpendicular to its body The central area is a rib cage-skull cross. The back feet has almost no bone in the talons, and the front two feet have two short toes, but you can't tell from the outside. There is no bone in the mouth on the front.

top of next page.ReligionThe Vykusi religion is centered around the worship of nature spirit gods. Each one represents a region of Vyku.
Om, the ocean goddess and the creator of life, born in a cataclysmic tidal wave. Inherently benevolent, most people prefer to worship her.
Wi, the volcano god and the destroyer of lives, born in a volcanic eruption. Inherently malevolent, though he does have followers.
Ro, the god of the plains, dug his way up from the ground.
Ko, the goddess of the marshes, lives at the bottom of a pond.
CommunicationIt communicates through a series of whistles. Its "mouth" is only used for eating and it breathes through a hole on the tip of the bump on the mouth, (a nose of sorts since it can also smell with it). Because of the unique respiratory system the Vykusi employ, they can easily create whistles at varying frequencies with great accuracy. The pitch is changed pitch by pressing and pulling the breathing tube. It does this with its tongue, colored green in the digestive and basic pictures.
