Title: DnD anyone?
Post by: Aybraus on March 10, 2008, 09:10:05 pm
Since most of you guys have earned my trust, I think I'll DM a DnD game.

Post if interested, PM if committed.

Any story/rules request?

I DM like a DJ.

Likewise. No time really to learn either.

It's really terribly simple to learn.

I'd say go ahead and get the player's guide, you can get the gist of it in about a half hour, then you have an automatic geek-friend-making tool at your disposal.

If you'd rather not, I can guide you through everything. Makes the game slower though.

Yeah it is easy. Is this 4.0?

Ok, I'll try and find a guide for ver.4.0. Well, wish me luck. :)

I am just asking. I do not plan to join but it could be good to know for those that do intend to join. The basic 3.5 rules are free btw for all you who are interested.

Oh and are you all planing to play it on the forum or via a chat program like the games Me, Mr Wiz, Krakow Sam and Yossi have been playing? (We have had a few more players but some drop off and new onces join.)

I would have encounters be done via chat, other events done by board.

I could do 4.0 rules, but that would mean waiting for up to 3 things:
-Game coming out
-Aybraus being able to afford it
-Game coming out in libraries for Little and Yuu

I recommend that you stick to 3.5 for now. Little have already played a bit 3.5 and all the core stuff is free.

I dunno about DnD, VtR, maybe. (Vampire the Requiem)

I kinda fell out of the campaign last time we had DnD sessions....

Old World of Darkness is cooler then the new stuff! VTM over VTR!

Actually..you have a point. Since I do have access to the VtM books, I could do that.

I'm sorry but the guy who made VtM did not just die so there.
