What we're saying is that Fallout 3 is not crap. It's just different, and it's no worse for it.

Yea it is. You fall in love with the setting. Post apoc, only remnants of civilization left. Technological wonders. But you do not even know what future it is.
You have a time and date, but did you know that the technology you see in the game which is left from the old world is the future as they saw it in the 1950s with some minor bethesda screwups that is. As a sequal, it is crap. No mystery to the game, no good story, and the story is in my opinion most valueable.

I could do a big list of things it was lacking which all contributed to the failure, but im not going to :)

I suppose it's funny that you posted after me, because you are also female.  How coincidental.

But the game didn't fail, it actually did very well.

OK, I admit, the story was a bit weak. However, I thought it was a worthy sequel to a series of equally flawed games. Conversation over, considering we've de-railed the entire thread with this discussion.

Ok, yes. It was not a bad game in a sence that it beat most games out there with the same setting. It did fail in being a sequal. They should have just not called it fallout 3 and renamed some other parts of it. I would not have loved it but I would not have hated it either.

The story of fallout 1 and 2 created such a large fanbase over time which exicted more than 10 years after the original game that what you are saying simply is not true. The story is fantastic. If only someone would make a movie out of it. When and if I become a director, this will be on my list. Keep an eye out for it.

Should have thought about that ahead of time and gotten it for the consoles like I did.

Ah, but you can then download it for the PC with a clear conciense.  Best of both worlds.  Mods and stability.

Actually you can't download a copy of a PC game if you own the Xbox one. Trust me I tried arguing that with the ESA about Bioshock.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

True they don't provide the service, but after supporting the makers of the game and buying it once already, one could say that there would be no issue in obtaining a PC version of the game through certain channels.

Yes, you would think. But the law says other wise. Trust me, I know after I had a debate with an ESA contact over the phone in regards to Bioshock. :\ Really ridiculous imho.

But yeah Bethesda game should always be played on a PC. I agree.
