Which program do you prefer doing your modeling in? I've tried using sketup from google but I really don't like it that much my friend was going to teach me how to use 3dsmax but he hasn't gotten around to it as of yet and it seems like it might be a bit much to learn too.
So far I've used only Maya and Max. I've tried using Blender, but the interface is just too crazy for my taste. (Or maybe it's just too different from autodesk products. :V)
Between Maya and Max, I definately prefer Max for modeling. The graphite modeling tools are a very comfortable way to easily access all the different functions to make modling so so
SO much easier, while in Maya most functions are hidden behind context menus and you really have to learn all the short cuts to do your work in a reasonable amount of time.
However, I use Maya heavily for animation, but that's mainly, because I was never taught how to use Max for animation. But I have also heard that maya is better for that than Max, so I'm gonna believe that.
Today we made a skull in 3ds max. I made other 3D models before, but this is by far the best I've ever done.

He asked what program I prefer, not which one I used.
