So the Supreme are basically a bit like a cross between the masons and the people who run pyramid scheme scams, the Rise are comparable to Buddhism and the search for enligtenment, and the balance are sadistic nutjobs... interesting mix.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

LOL, Krakow you really made me laugh :P.

The thing in his boot is a kind of Urshan jewelry. Because the supreme is a very capitalistic religion they like to "show off" in order to promote the religion.

And yeah they can stand up :), but they need something to lean on. The skill of walking on two legs without any walking staff is only acquired by ground soldiers and laborers.

The Supremes seem to be a lot like Ferengi religion in Star Trek.

Never seen a single star-trek episode in my life I fear :P.

But thanks to wikipedia I checked out what you were talking about and in a way you are right.

I was aiming more for the American economical point of view in the 1930~ but thats pretty much the same.

Thank you all :), I always happy to answer about the Urshans.

did you guys saw all those new videos and pictures in E3! Well anyway :P...

I give you finally Urshan farming history (mianly in the past)

Agriculture:
Urshan culture since the beginning of civilization was based on farming. The first big groups of Urshans were agriculture societies. The Eastern Empire was in fact mainly based on farming in the ancient ages and through out history. Although the Urshans are omnivores and their ancestors were carnivores they tend to eat more vegetables then meat therefore the greatest crops of all times and the most basic and loved food is the Nuka. The Nuka was the main food source for the Urshans even in early evolutionary stages. The wild Nuka has many calories in it and vital vitamins. It is very common and the Urshan's unique grasping got its form mainly for gripping wild Nuka in nature. The civilized Urshans domesticated the Nuka into a more weather proof plant that can feed many. The empire almost fell apart in 1460 AE because of its need of Nuka. Crop farming really improved in the future when new machines were created in order to automate the process. The first Urshan robots were in fact "farming robots".

Nuka:

The rare 4 "stick" Nuka.

The wild Nuka is a very common plant. From its trunk 3 smaller "sticks" grow. On the top of each of them the Nuka sacks grow where the "grain" grows. The 4 stick Nuka is a rare kind originally but was genetically infavoured by Urshan biologists. The Nuka is used to make Nuka bread, Nuka pie, Nuka juice and the favorite Nuka beer. The Nuka is harvested by a tool named "Ribu". A wood stick attached to 4 sharp blades. It is as ancient as farming itself and even the modern farming robots use a similar electrical harvesting tool.

The Ribu

More to come: Pictures and stories of the wonders of the world, Urshan music, Grasping, And many more...

Get ready for a suprise!

No I fear this is not some new information about my race, not yet.

But I've been playing around with photoshop trying to color some of my old drawings and here I give you something new I made:
(Don't expect future drawings to be that detailed, took me a long time :). But I will probably start painting old drawings).

This is a picture of a Balancer Shaman discovering the first "4 stick" wild Nuka. Now you cans see the colors of the Urshans finally.

But still some Info:
This is a picture of a Balancer Shaman called "Rut Duno". She was the leading shaman of a small tribe in Sian in the early days of civilization.
At this age agriculture just started and the farmers were working on domesticating the wild Nuka. Rut went out to search for "good quality" Nuka to breed when she found out this rare kind.
Later she brought it back to her village and it became the main Nuka kind for a few years. Unfortunately all the 4 stick Nuka fields were burned in a fire when day and for a few hundreds of years the 4 stick Nuka wasn't found.
Only in the imperial age the 4 stick will become the common kind of Nuka (after it would be found again).

Maybe later in some phenomina, the Urshans would have to destrot the second planet and the furthest planet from the sun, to keep them from colliding once every 20,000 years?

Maybe not, maybe they can influence the orbits with their brains! That would be cool. But I am sorry, I am hi-jacking your creature develpment.
