I started reading this comic in high school and I fell off sometime in college and now I am out of college and I have no idea what is going on.

I really should catch up.

I really wanted Hussie to take one of my suggestions, but alas, it wasn't to be. And then I think they stopped the suggestion box thing altogether, right?

Yes, as the story became more complex suggestions basically became replaced by Hussie watching fan speculation and in-jokes and riffing on it. Now the story is coming to a close even that is sort of pointless.
